TRO,

Would you consider continuing the thread you started at baby pips? I think it was an excellent thread and I know I was benefiting from your knowledge and teaching style by making people think. I am pretty sure some of the other people are going to join here to see if we can continue it.

Thanks
Rich

Hi TRO,
Yes if you build it they will come ...oh wow...I was going to put in a smilie face but what a selection!

Hey, I say let it go...those who want to be here, will be, and you won't be setting yourself up to get banned, and we shouldn't have to deal with all the bickering and possessiveness like at the others places. BIG pics, BIG fonts, bring it on Laugh_Smile

Looking forward to Never Losing Again! Thanks TRO.

I'm in too!

I'm not sure the thread will continue here, since TRO's been trying to spread his knowledge in popular forums. Here, it's like his home.

I'm not sure there's too many forums left for him LOL...

disbellj on BP made a post about momentum...and I think that can be seen by the size of the bar(s) and the bigger the bar in a short time seems to bounce in a large way too before continuing or reversing.

This brings me back to an article, or post, I read somewhere about timing, cycle, momentum, and something else...can't recall offhand.

Anyway, when I saw price starting to pulse up (after several smaller bars preceding it which I believe is a theory of the calm leading up to big moves), I put in a market order...sorry habit....when I saw price reach a line, the first one of several on my chart, that previously had a red bar which was a actually a few bars back. H1 & D1 where both green.

Then while I waited, I quickly modified the order with a t/p at 10 pips more than I entered....and it hit! This was the 2nd successful attempt and I'll try a few more to save a few screenshots and wait to see if TRO or anyone makes any comments.

I'll try to post a chart later when I have time to figure out how :) but gotta go for now.

Yes, we can continue it here. But I want you to keep the thread going on BabyPips.

Many new traders find their way there and they need to know the WHOLE TRUTH about trading and Forex.

I won't be lurking at babypips forum much anymore.
It's unfortunate because I like the site, but I really do prefer my resources/education to be as un-censored as possible.

When it comes to the truth, everyone will always have a different version. And that is fine - if we all shared the same perspective, it would be boring as hell.
What I really find unjust is when one version of the truth is stifled.

To me it's practically the same as being told:
"You are too stupid to make your own decisions, so we will make them for you....you can read this, but you may not read that".

But anyway...I have attached an archive of the babypips "Never Lose Again" thread (up till today) just in case it should suddenly...vanish.

SO??? BtB???

had a big realisation last night.

yesterday i made over 40 trades. if i had only taken 5 pips on each instead of going for gold i would have made 200 p.

but that raises another question, some brokers consider that type of activity as " illegal scalping".

any experience on that????
