A new beginning.

Washing my sins away:
Actually washing the Chinese formaldehyde off these rubberized weight plates so they don't stink so bad.

Step one:
Diet.

After listening to a few keto podcasts this past couple weeks I've ramped up the low carb lifestyle.
Last 2 days have been nil. Feeling great. Abs are harder already. Woke up with a woody too.
Had seasoned burger meat and eggs for a late breakfast, Fatted coffee for lunch, and a double Bacon cheeseburger bun-less with un-sweet tea for dinner. Stuffed.

Step two:
Training.

Since my 1000 day challenge went belly up mostly from boredom I realized this past year I've done very few metcons OR aerobic workouts.
No heart health, just low rep lifting.
I can feel it big time.
Decided to go with a 3 on 1 off rotation.
Hypertrophy, weightlifting, and conditioning rotated and alternated each cycle.
3-5 week waves before a backoff week.
A jack of all trades master of none approach that will be fun and extend my ability to enjoy extracurricular activities like hiking, racket ball, etc.
Something like this:

Pro have you ever used a prowler before. They are one of the best pieces of equipment ever. Search prowler flu on youtube and you'll see what i am talking about.

Keto diets are awesome for raising your test levels. When I run keto its like being on viagra 24/7.

This is sitting in my front yard.
Bought it a couple month's ago, maybe 3?
Haven't used it yet.
It will now be on the docket since I have programmed conditioning into the rotation.

Joy!
hahaha

First time i used mine. Loaded 145 pds on it, 6 30 yard passes all out sprints. Lost my stomach about 10 minutes after I finished and literally had to lay down for 2 hours. The prowler is the devil, but amazing at the same time.

Hey Pro, wish you the best on the new thread.
v8power thanks for contributing so much to the site, you're a big inspiration.
Pro, v8power ...... sorry, not FX related, but when I was pretty strict on Keto, I was a bit of cranky bitch, seemed like I had no capacity to handle any external stress, felt like I had adrenal fatigue or something,....... is this something that would disappear over time or does it just mean my body can't handle keto very well? Thanks in advance guys.

Haha, me an inspiration. There is something Im not use to hearing but thanks.

I'll give you my two cents on the keto and i think pro will pretty much agree. When u switch to keto your body is still use to running on carbs. So u have now cut off its preferred fuel choice. If its your first attempt at keto it can take 2-4 weeks to adapt to using fat as your main fuel source.

There are a few tricks I use when putting people on keto. If the have the willpower and will put them on super strict keto. That means as few as trace carbs possible, so no veggies or even dairy with trace carbs. Pretty much eggs and meat, nothing else. Also go 2 weeks before having your 1st carb up. Plus i will use bcaa's before meals.

But I dont want to get carried away since this is pro's thread (on a trading forum).

Life is not one topic,
Neither is this thread.

If taking the advice from the Tim Ferris podcast you'd be using KetoCaNa to prevent "carb flu".

I personally have never had a problem going low carb for days. Some days I may get 5-20g others 80g.
The more I go without the better I feel.

So I can't give advice.
Most likely Ive never been in a true keto state for extended periods.

To start fresh Im closing this mess here.
I will post my first 20 day trading plan "cycle" later.
It incorporates an 8mp catastophic. ;-)
P.S.
Im not a trading addict.
I fear loss AND I am a creature of habit.
