I guess the inevitable moment then TRO leaves Tradestation for good will set in when Tradestation finally cuts the datafeed to TRO.
We have been talking about that with TRO today and we both were surprised they haven't done that yet

How is the beach? I love the beach chair picture.
If someone, and anyone, has an account with Tradestation, how can they cut that individuals data feed and access to the TS platform whether it is me, or TRO or anyone else?

Just as easily as they can ban you from posting on their forums, Jeff.

Michal,
I'd like to think that TradeStation wouldn't be that heavy handed, but past experience reminds me that they wouldn't think twice about doing it if TRO threatened their precious business in any way.

They cannot legally close out TRO's existing investment positions without the difficulty of trying to ascertain future worth.

TS put my account in LIQUIDATION ONLY status so I can't open any positions.

Ali Son: yes, you are right.
Avery's got an AAPL position open with Tradestation, so they can't ever close out his trade without facing legal charges.
At the same time, long AAPL is a good investment, so this trick is actually making money to Avery.
Now that's pretty cool
In any case, Avery needs forex automation, so he is gonna say ta-ta
to Tradestation and switch to the real stuff.
