Oh my!

I've missed this place!

I'd like to share some observations I have made around a particular squiggly line that has piqued my interest these past few months...

I have documented this in my video blog for the Dukascopy FX Video contest

http://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/video-c ... atch&id=74

I would love to know what you think...

Peace Jal

There's a MT4 template that will allow you to plot the 108 LWMA lines on your charts... Multiple like shown in the video...

Just to verify what I'm seeing...

My Opinion:
108 seems to work, because it is a large moving average. It is always where price was sitting in the recent time, thats where the orders are, that is also where s/r is.

Coincidence???

Hmmm... yes that is a very valid observation... but I feel in many ways its baked into our psyche as with most numbers and proportions that move around the golden mean.

Yes, that would be my guess. I fell in love with some of my stuff too the last weeks, but ultimately ended up not caring about anything except "small" steady profit.

So yeah I was working with this again last nite and I discovered that the M1 108LWMA MTF acts almost like a zigzag type of indicator... BUT with a difference. It plots a S&R line that is indicative of Price Action... The rest of the lines can just be called to view with a TRO indicator MM_MA

Image

Watch for a bounce off the M15 line... 20 pips as of this posting if you traded the M15 via Limit Order...

A way to trade this was just shown...

Earlier price was being resisted by the M30 line and we could have taken a rat like trade off the green into the bounce off the M15 (which co-incidentally is also the Zero Line...

Scalpers Delight...!

A Humble request, if any of you are on the Dukascopy online community... I would appreciate it if you like my video's if you found the information valuable.

And a big thanks to bredin, newark, brookmyre and the crew for liking my vids so far :D

Cheers ;-)

A small request...

Please can you like my video's on the competition site...

http://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/video-c ... r=Jalarupa

There's one more week left and had they announced a winner earlier I would have produced more video's but having said that I probably will in the future, just without the branding and overall viral nonsense that comes with an undertaking such as this...

I would appreciate any assistance you could give me in winning some prize money from Dukascopy... in the form of likes

Many thanks and big love!

A friendly note to anyone who would like to like my video's, is that you have to be registered member of the Dukascopy online community.

Not too worry, its a secure online community much like this one and the other popular ones out there which do not spam your inbox with offers for accounts, discounts, new products, strategies and the like...

So I know I may be asking a lot, but a lot of work went into those video's and because the nature of the competition lends itself to whoever has the most 'friends' as well as quality, well thats why I'm calling on my friends, and or enemies (I know there must be some), to find it in their day bewteen sessions to register and give a brother a like.

The like is also great because its anonomys. If you wanna make yourself known then please leave a "+1" comment so I may thank you personally.

Thank you for tollerating me in my stay here at Kreslik.

I look forward to releasing many more exciting video's in the future to help traders to see the market in a new way.

- Any suggestions are welcome (pm me) ;-)

Hi Jalarupa

Nice one on the videos - am impressed, in my not so distant past I've performed a lot of video art at events in countries around Europe... have clicked 'like' on them all, interesting material and well produced!

Good luck and all the best :)

Thanks Rob,

Awesome another trader / VJ! :P My next big gig is EarthDance ;)

I wanted to do so much more, but the peeps at Dukascopy decided that the community involvement wasn't sufficient enough to continue the video's. Truth is its taken them three months to crown a winner... and a lot of the guys have great ideas for follow ups, but the amount of work involved especially when doing animation and special effects can take days even weeks to perfect. Didn't warrant us doing new videos for the same reward. I did suggest to the organisers that they do a winner on the current entrants and maybe pay less... but atleast pay something so we can continue to do this... but hey, gonna have to settle for whatever I get and then do some vids not related to any outer 'sponsor'...

But yeah thanks for the like I appreciate it... will post the video (minus branding) that I was going to follow up with next month if all goes well.
