How about Indicators Manual Section?

Good Day to all forum members, Im new at forex and new in this forum also, One thing I notice in here is that there seems to be lot of free useful indicators, but as a newbie in forex I find it hard to understand what strategy a particular indicator is implying. It would have been better if moderators will extend further their helping hand to put a section where every indicators will be explained a little more detailed.

One example on the DTB indicators, for me it can be traded by just waiting the semapor numbers to appear in a candle, but there's a lot more stuff in the chart that I dont know the particular use.Why it uses a 1 2 3 numbers, instead of just an arrow up or down? Many questions that cannot be address by the poster one by one.

This is just a suggestions, but I will be more happy if it will become a reality someday.

Good luck to all traders and the owner of this forum!

Hi, while I'm not a newbie in forex trading I do agree. It would be nice to have all of the free download indicators in one area with their corresponding manual for proper use. Also a list of Donational indicators would be helpful. By searches I came to the conclusion the Buy Zone for Dummies indicator was donational, but I'm still not sure. thanks!

A while ago I felt the same way about documentation. Reading TRO, MO and others I've had a change of heart. I believe each of us is responsible to work harder than ever to learn how to use the tools we have been given freely and donationally and bought for exorbitant prices from other sources. Spoon feeding is good for newborn babies. After you've done searches, read related posts and threads, that is the time to ask questions about a give subject in the related thread.

There is a balance between giving information, documentation etc, and the student digging in and doing his or her necessary work. No one can learn what you or I need to learn for you or I.

After doing your homework, when you have questions, and have read the related threads, ask every minuet detail question about what you don't understand.

I am thinking about how to post the list of donational indicators. The problem is, a screen shot will be a gif file and not able to be searched for a given name, other than viewed and in alpha order.

Patch, thanks. I agree in principal. After getting a feel for the board I understand your post about spoon feeding. I'm not afraid to do the work necessary. That said, after reading Never Lose Again and the Buy Zone Strategy, all good stuff, keeping it simple seems to be the theme. It could be the search engine is lacking. For instance, after searching for Buy Zone for Dummies and weeding through most of the posts, it's still unclear where it resides for MT4, IMO.

glenngie,

Hey if you've read NLA you are a serous trader learner. And I really like MO's zLines and Mzones, and buyzone and the TRO Rats, though I personally hate rats.

I am studying MZ, ZL and BZ and RATS. Just put a post on BZ in the last few pages of Donational Indicators thread. Also take a look at the threads these URLs take you to. Trillion Strategy is the original BZ TS style:
$trilliion Strategy = BuyZone

You will see several BZ's on the charts in Don.Indi's. My very favorite is TRO_buyzone_time is in the 2009.08.03 DI update. I am also taking a closer look at wicks and tails.

2 lists of all the donational indi's I've received from TRO is posted on the Donational Thread.

Simple is best. I also like the 3Semafors.

I assure you of this one thing:

IF YOU CAN LOSE THE MONEY via FX -- YOU CAN EARN IT BACK 100 FOLD, OR MORE, IN THE MARKET

I have the buyzone skyline running on my MT4, I see 4 boxes on the 1H chart. However the blue box is covered by the white box. There are green boxes on the top and bottom of the chart. All have values associated with them. Some I can't read because of the overlap. There are also no line extended out through the chart, just the boxes. Have to be missing something.

Please take a screen shot of your chart and post it. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Let me ask you, do you prefer words or pictures?

Me too. When in doubt, post a chart.
