Airball YM setup for NT

During the Forex pirate meeting I spoke with Michal, Avery and others about the idea of getting people started on coding in NT by using formula language. Although it is not as powerful as C# and some of the other .idl based languages in NT, it is very simple and easy to use and works great.

I especially stressed to Avery and others that you can train yourself in NT using the sim server to actually test simple discretionary (or mechanical) code in a very realistic simulated environment. This can be beneficial to the trader as they will be able to learn quickly and have the confidence to trade their method.

As part of this process, Michal very kindly helped me put together a simple Quote based formula for the Airball scalping method on the Russell (we still need to modify the inputs so that it can be used on other instruments).

Please unzip the attached file and install under C:/ProgramFiles/Tickquest/Windows/Quote and then you can open this quote window in NT. It looks a lot like Radar Screen for TS but without the extra price.

I hope that his will inspire others to post their simple code ideas in NT.

TRO,

Sure, I'll post a shot once I can get my wife off the computer :)

Just use that indicator tomorrow and you'll make enough to buy your own computer!

O.k. here is a screen shot from today on the YM. I've also attached another zip file of the quote screen setup for YM.

Avery, looking at today's trades I'd say that you're right considering I see 3 winners and 1 loser on the YM for a net of 20 points or $100 per contract. Not too shabby. Play 5 cons on that and I'd have a new computer :)

Airball care to chime in on that? Did you get all 3 plays (one was right at the end of the day). Am I looking at the correct setups?

Ben,

So are you including the 75 and 25 in your trade setups?
