hI everyone

just wanted to say this is a wonderful site for us traders here and would first like to that kreslik and TRO for helping the programming ilterate!

This maybe a stupid question but am funding my account next week and have never used TS before. so I am a complete newbie as for as El and TS.

****** Question***** :?: :?:
I have a friend who has some ela and els codes for 2000i. I think some are incripted but not sure yet. will I have any problems using these scripts in radarscreen? or in charting. I have heard that some traders had problems using ELD in 2000i but was not sure in new ts accfount holders have problem using older codes. :?:

thanks in advance

Hi balkanbro

Els's run on 2000i, and Eld's do not I believe. In most cases, I think you can take the Eld programming code, and cut and paste it into the Tradestation easy language editor and save it as an Els.

Radarstation compatability- try it and see what happens.

patch a question
I am not sure if you understood what I was trying to say...I am not trying to use eld codes in 2000i but to use older codes like els ela into TS 8.3?

I dont know how to program at all and was offered some codes. for charts and RS.

thank for your help and sorry for the confusion.

Hi Balkanbro

I got it all backwards, which isn't the first time. Take the program code from ela and els 's and copy into eld and compile or I think it's called verify. It should work fine. Try it and let me know.
