2009.05.22 THE ANTI-TRADE INDICATOR

Image

I listen to the MARK DOUGLAS MP3 a few times each week. Some of it is really sinking in. According to Mark, it doesn't take any skill to enter a winning trade. Our technical indicators are designed to give us an "edge" but CAN NOT TELL US THE OUTCOME OF ANY PARTICULAR TRADE.

I wrote the "fortune teller" indicator as a joke when all the TRIAD HYPE started. I figured random numbers were as good as TRIAD or any other SQUIGGLY LINE based system.

I had written a couple of RISK indicators that ranked the risk of going long vs going short. Today, I wrote a couple of indicators that tell you NOT TO GO LONG OR SHORT.

TRO_MM_NOT_TO_TRADE is a multimeter that tells you not to trade long or short on all of the time periods.

TRO2009_MP_NOT_TO_TRADE is a multi pairs indicator that tells you tells you not to trade long or short for each of the pairs entered.

These indicators are still under development.

I find this kind of indicator extremely interesting. Can you say at least approximately when it could be ready for use?
Thanks,
Indrek

Avery, what's the name of this 'RISK indicators that ranked the risk of going long vs going short'? It sounds awesome.

Also, is TRO_MM_NOT_TO_TRADE project done?

TRO_RISK, TRO_RISK1, TRO_RISK2 AND TRO_RISK3. Different versions that display the long vs short risk.

Yes, NOT TO TRADE is "done".

I don't think I made them available. Hmmmm???

They were an experiment.

I guess I could add them to the donationals.

It looks like the TRO_RISK indicator was a 2008 Donational Indicator.
