meta trader for futures?

hi, newbie question from ts guy. can meta trader be used for futures trading? thanks
No, MetaTrader is built for Forex trade only.
It combines data feed & trading platform.
Forex data feed is usually free on any other trading platform,
but you have to pay for futures.
Some companies (like gft.com for example) are providing their own trading platform (very similar to MT4 sometimes - as with gft, you could even import mq4 code into their stategies & indicators), which could trade
both Forex, Stocks & Futures., but usually free data feed is very limited (Forex and some (but not all) futures)
