Neoticker and Hardware key quotes freeze

My neoticker software wont work.
Quotes freeze on any equity symbol and some eminis.
Data feed is MB Trading.

Quick question on the hardware key.
Does USB legacy support in bios need to be enabled for that to work properly?
Anyone have USB legacy support disabled and Neoticker working fine?

Another problem I encountered was the installation disk either had a missing or corrupt driver for the hardware key.
So after you install the software look in the add/remove programs and see if the driver is there for the key.

The NeoTicker Support forum is here:

http://forums.neoticker.com/index.php

If you do a search for usb hasp you'll find materials you need that reference this issue.

It's unfortunate that folks looking for support for NeoTicker are ending up getting it here.... It means you're missing out.

Asptrader

Im not missing out.
Posted on neoticker forum under different name.

My purpose for posting here is that quite a few of us took advantage of buying the software as a group and I was wondering if any of them have had the same trouble as I have. I dont think its unfortunate to post here as well as in the neoticker forum.

My problem ended up being twofold.
Driver for hardware key was corrupted or missing on the install cd and MB trading datafeed messed up. Not a smooth transition from Tradestation as I hoped it would be. :(

I agree that it isn't bad to post here... But the solution for the hardware key IS posted at the forum site.

Transition slow mostly because of MB trading datafeed? So, let's figure out how to make further transition smoother.

I'd be willing to do an online session for you to work through issues. PM me if you're interested.

The USB driver TickQuest includes in the installation CD appears to be an old version. I downloaded the latest driver version from http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/enduser.asp and it works fine. Not sure if this is helpful to you but just wanted to point it out.

I had no issues installing and running Neo whatsoever. I used the standard installation from the supplied CD.

I didn't expect the transition from TS was going to be easy! You should be patient, brwkem. How long did it take you to learn TS? Personally I find Neo very intuitive - even more intuitive for me than Tradestation was.

I think it's perfectly legitimate to post these questions here AS WELL as at the Neo forums. Many of us on this forum did switch to Neo at the same time, so we are experiencing the same kind of issues. I think we know each other better on this forum so that discussing the switch to Neo in this "family circle" gives us all better experience.

Obviously, the NeoTicker forum offers more information on NeoTicker. But we may as well gain information there and discuss that "in the family circle" here :)
