OK, I bid adou and my box fills up with PM,s..Lol..That just tells me that traders are interested in the bz , but are still skeptical .But that is OK .It takes time to accept simple concepts .( how long has TRO been posting those bz charts ..10 yrs ?. ). Any way to answer some questions , this is how I trade the bz . I set a line @ the open of the NY pit session on a 1 min chart . The bz lines are + and - 5 pips from there .When price crosses a bz line ,I enter ,you can put a stop @ the opposite line or even @ the open line if you wish .Personally I am not using stops , but exiting with market orders at those points . At +5 profit ,my stop is @ be .This is important because I must keep loses small . ......I exit when price stalls or hits a trend line ... ........
" But Chappy ...aren't you taking a lot of break even and losing trades ?. " Some days ..Yes..but So What ? . When price eventually moves they will all be erased . I hope this answers most questions ,,,again this is how I trade it ..Avery trades it a bit differently . ......practice and see how it works for you ..

Thank you Chappy for for explaining the way you trade the BZ.

When you say "Open of NY Pit Session", is that 9:30 AM Eastern Time Zone?

Blue is the candle's midpoint ( H - L ) / 2

Pink is the previous candle's midpoint.

I use those for trading bias - long above previous midpoint, short below.

After entering a trade, I use the midpoint bias to signal an exit if I have 10 or more pips in profit. I would also exit at the midpoint if trading is slow, choppy, whippy, etc...

See how the midpoint would save your bacon in the above chart.

Remember, I discussed the previous candle's midpoint years ago.

You can use it on any chart period.

The original trade was the previous day's midpoint.

This year, I noticed how strong the previous week's midpoint can be!!

Notice what happened the past two weeks in the above chart.
