It seems like the pair enters and exits the zone a lot. You can you post another chart?

Hello TRO,

What inputs ( ie: OpenBuyZone, BuyZoneHI, and BuyZoneLO) do you recommend for day-trading the ES ?

Thank you,
Richard

Hi richsan

Welcome to Kreslik. I consider this to be the single best open trading forum on the net.

I don't know of any one who specifically trades the ES. eudamonia trades the ER and Gert Frobe the YM with success. Look all their posts up and read them as many times as it takes to understand them. Both are great guys.

PS richsan

To find all their posts, click on the home page at the top right hand corner or any page, then you will see each of their handles under "Top Posters" and click their name, and on the info page is a link to call up all of their posts. This makes it very easy.

When I find a posting or topic or individual I am interested in, I print out their pages, put them in a 3 ring notebook and yellow highlight and fold page corners for stuff I want to go back to.

TRO, sorry to be a thorn in your side but I have been unable to get the trendlines to show. I missing something somewhere. The old Buy Zone indicator was working but now, no lines.

LOL.. that's cause the market is closed!!

Change the input date to 1070322 rather than currentdate and you'll see the lines.

No joy. Last night I tried to figure out where to put the "input date" number from the quote above but I didn't see any place under the inputs tab to do that. I figured I would wait a see today live. Still no lines. I was puzzled because you can clearly see on the screen shot that the indicator is plotting the text, calculating the numbers but not the lines.

Not sure if this is related but the second poster in this thread mentioned he had an error trying to load the workspace. I had the exact same error when I first opened the workspace. I thought ok, that's fine, I'm not trading forex. Pulled up a regular chart and applied the Buy Zone indicator but get no lines. That's where we are today.

Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks...

Have you tried removing the buy zone from the chart,

then put the Buy Zone indicator back in the chart.

This works for me sometimes.
