Hi MightyOne!

I know, you told this several times but I can't get this Truth.
Is range referred to the current bar and midpoint to the previous one? (Or am I saying weird things? :P )

Thank you much for your patience.

Range refers to the current candle, my friend
The high, low, and midpoint of the current candle

When a new candle starts, all are at the same place
When a new candle starts, the open and midpoint are at the same place!

In order for PA to make a new high, it must first be above the midpoint
In order for PA to make a new low, it must first be below the midpoint

If you wish to define your range by something other than the current candle, you can do that as well, just be consistent with it.
But I assume you are using the range of a *current* higher timeframe candle, and trading with that bias, on the lower timeframes.

((MightyOne has his own post describing this, but I can't search it up now.))

Thank you much Tyger!

I need to find that post, do you remember if it's in this thread?
Probably this concept could help me to better understand the WickDoll

Thanks

Green lines are separating patterns from the origin of bullish breakouts, i don't know if are drawn correctly

but

when price closed under, with a good BDP, they worked out pretty well :D

Last night I had my first 28 day dry aged steak & now I don't think that I could have it any other way, it was bleeping amazing.

I coached a game of Craps, for about 10 shooters, on the difference between winning (temporarily getting ahead) and losing play (just pissing your money away):

Code: Select all

I see that you're fidgeting with your dice, do me a favor and press them into the diamonds that are right behind your hand.

You see how they fit perfectly? You see how the edge of the dice is exposed to the flat surface of the table?

Only a fool believes that he can control the dice!

If you were so gifted then the casinos would ban you and you would be a depressed old obese man selling books and tapes...maybe there is some truth to it after all...but there are other things that you can control that work just as well and won't get you banned.

Before I called it a night I had my new favorite drink, the "buttery hot chocolate":

1) pour 15oz of Silk Dark Chocolate almond milk into a small pot
2) add thin slices of butter amounting to a quarter stick
3) set the stovetop to "4" or very low heat
4) start stirring when the milk is warm
5) once the butter has melted add 2 scoops of Great Lakes Gelatin Hydrolysate (green can).
6) turn the burner off after you see steam and stir for another minute
7) pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

Is defining a range something like cutting out little details to see all the order flow?

Now, were lucky if a member post. While Im not concenrned about who posts. But I need access to these types of gains. UJ, GU and GJ just s**t wiped me. EU hasn't moved and has retraced most of my intial position. Almost everthing that could, moved against me. Then there are members making s**t like this

The people mentioned deserve all the credit for having the stones to use an aggressive strategy.

It is all about setting yourself up to get lucky by holding a large size prior to move.

You focus on the best ideas and practices and then you let the result rest in the hands of Fate.

Trading based on a fixed amount and using additional monies strictly for leverage is also a good idea.

A lapse of judgement and frustration that's all. My apologize's.

Hi MO!
How are you? :D

Last night I felt stupid because finally I got the simple concept:

WICK IN DIRECTION OF LOSS

and that timeframes fooled me

But I have a question: if every line could be a zline, then isn't there the possibility to get fooled?
(Also because 4H is a liar woman  )

"Study, think, test, be creative, and take your risks" -Kavouras

He took the words right out of my mouth.

Everyone knows that how things play out in real life is different from that of a calculator
and yet they insist on believing in an outcome that they will never live to see (billions of spins, come on...)!

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen" -Hebrews 11:1

What are we hoping for? A good outcome, a steep trend and goodly profit!
What is the evidence of things unseen? The things which we have seen and do see!

"The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord" -Proverbs 16:33

The Bible says that the Lord is in his very nature 'truth' and that if we seek truth first, instead of assuming that we
already possess it (the opposite of faith), that THE Truth himself shall add all things to us which we sought through him.

Notice that the Truth reserves subtraction for those who abide in their own understanding of things; it is as if inauspiciousness
was designed to be something that man could understand.
