Re: UCad trade
It's a crying shame I was still in
Profit Accumulation Stage 【i.e. Risk-Averse】
when I took that UCad Short.
...70 pips @1stDouble would've been reeeeaaaallllll NICE! ((+4.2%))

Re: TygerKrane's Pip-Pickpocketing
Week 7
Week Ending 2/3/17
-3.6%
Entries: 32
Week high: 2.4%
Week low: -3.6%
So the week did not bring me what I most feared, however, it also did not bring me a positive week. Actually, I am really surprised that it was a losing week. I felt really comfortable and can't imagine too much more I can do to improve my trade selection. Keeping in my mind that a 100% or even an 80% trade success rate is not necessary, I am not really looking to change too much of what I have been doing.
I would say that maybe 5 of my 32 trades were really done in a careless manner.
In this comfort zone that I felt this week, Monday was pretty breakeven, Tuesday felt like I could do no wrong; Wednesday -following the same trading style- felt like I could do no right; and Thursday and Friday I was carefully trying to some way to recover.
I was trying to keep my trades to lower leverages, but then, after seeing how easily my gains were erased by a few naturally-occurring losses (out of my control), it looks like I really do need to find a way to more quickly escalate my trading leverage. Basically, even keeping with lower leverages, the losses that can naturally occur with most trading styles, quite easily erased my gains. Luckily, I didn't lose control of myself after this.
But I would have to honestly say that I DID like the way that I felt while observing the charts and making my trading decisions; I can't imagine how much more I could change it, in order to get better results.
One thing that is frustrating however is when I set a Stop Limit Order, it gets hit precisely, and I don't make money off of the trade. It's hard for me to take a quick TP for those trades b/c when I set the order, it is because I have a bigger plan in mind...so when PA comes back and triggers the order, I am looking for my longer term analysis to play out.
To put it more simply, I don't leave a Stop Limit Order on the market for 4, 8, 16 hours, just for it to get hit and I get only a 10 pip TP for it.
Anywayz, so with the new filter I am using to decide which pairs are in a 'tradeable area', I will need to change my lineup of pairs b/c it causes conflict sometimes.
