Re: ProchargedMopar's Trading Trilogy

There is still something that I cannot comprehend about myself.

It seems easy to make 1 million.

There are patterns and breakouts of patterns.

After a breakout.....WAIT.
Because we know price will go back into a pattern.

Then, buy every 10 level until the kitty is full.

Wait for the breakout.

Why try to trade the breakout when price spends most of it's time in a pattern?

It just doesn't make sense how I can be poor for such a large % of my life.

Grown man sitting in the break room @work with tears in his eyes. I had to get up and act like I was going to the restroom.

Weird,
Not sure why I'm so upset about someone I'd never met or even talked to before.
Very odd.

Sometimes crying is the only way to neutralize what is eating you alive.

When my friend choked to death on his own vomit I wept for days.

Nope.
Still have to go to work today.

If you think of each line as 5 pips (the exact number doesn't matter) and use a stop loss of 2 lines then you only need to know where you
would take profit on a small chart to take profit on a larger chart:
6+ pips = 1+ lines
+15 or 20 pips = 3+ lines
etc.

There are some differences between small charts and large charts: you aren't likely to see a price spike through multiple lines in an hour, market orders can be used without the fear that you will get a bad price, etc.

I just remembered.
When Joe Ross wrote some of his first books for his relatives back in the late 70's he talked about the phenomenon known as Consolidations and ?Connectors?.
I can't remember the exact verbiage he used so I'll have to go back and look.

Or ONE might say Patterns and Breakouts.

He made plenty of rules around them giving them names like ledges, congestions and Consolidations. Even how many bars defined them and when it was high probability for a breakout or to make another connecting leg.

Later he had many pupils who would master trading such market action.
Even beyond his own ability to do so.
Interesting.

Even though price never appeared on my chart to hit entry or exit I assume the broker is given the benefit of the doubt. lol

Anyway, what did I learn?
Nothing yet.

There all listed in his book day trading the forex market. The info on congestion was worth the 50 bucks or whatever it cost.

DC is def one of those traders who uses the 123's better then Ross himself if you ask me. Ross charges $2,000 a day for mentoring. I would pay that and more to trade with DC.
