Another week of fun-in-the-sun, with a long bias on Monday, short for Tuesday, Wednesday and most spectacularly, yesterday and to put a tail on Friday to Monday's top, a long bias was the call today. This would possibly have caused you some concerns if you stuck to the first move today but provided you stuck around and had a bit of a surf, then the arvo would have more than made up for any a.m. hassles.
Have a good weekend, y'all. Catch ya' later.

Hi, Pjort. Thanks for the kind words. It's good to have you here.
I do feel that I am not able to post as often as I would like but I am looking to remedy that. If the end-of-week round-ups can help point the way at least, then that's fine just now.

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
Speaking of posting more often...
Today was quite interesting, in a kind of non-interesting way. Now I know that doesn't make any kind of sense anywhere other than inside my head but here's what I mean...
On the H4 (04:00 - 08:00 uk), price is looking kind of dead-in-the-water. No help from any S+D zones. The only clue is coming form the Schaff Indi, which is giving a long-bias.
This is not necessarily a trade-killer - as you can, of course simply trade-a-line, with no bias in mind at all. However, any clues are always welcome.
As it turns out, I did go long on the move back up out of the lower WZ.
Now, what had given me the added confidence however, was a drop down to the H1 tf.
The H4 04:00 - 08:00 block is highlighted by the grey square.
The odds were now looking good for a bounce...which we got.
As an added cherry on top, as I was in on this already, I tend to keep an eye on it through the day and as such, managed to take advantage of a second bite at the US Open. This entry is run on the H1 tf, with the set-up candle coming on the H1 candle prior to the Open.
By this point, the bias had shifted to short. Taken out of the upper WZ.
(You will see that the time is shifted on this chart - ignore this, as it is simply because these indis are run on a different broker).

There was a very slight gap on the above entry but as I enter my trades on a separate broker, I actually dropped very little cash on it at all.

A bit late again, sorry - but here's last week's moves on the H4. All good.

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
Hi all.
This week's 04:00 Breaks. Pretty good week, all in.
I've also been looking at a twist on the familiar, by running the H4 break on the 08:00 (to Noon uk) on Crude. This is looking like it could be something special. Fills a slot in the day quite nicely,
Watch the skies...

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
I know Wanna is cool about me posting anything I find interesting, so as such - and as I was late to the party for the morning 500 trade - I thought I would add my notes on the WTI-Crude thing I'm looking at from today, as it's using the same method, just a different time-slot (08:00 - NOON uk).
The Lead-In (at 09:04 uk):
Trigger:
This was interesting, as on the H4 info alone, I would have been expecting a probable short. Bit of a surprise then, when off it went in a Northerly direction, lol.
However, when I dropped to the H1 tf, you can see why this was actually much more likely.
I have deliberately left it on a wide-view but please ignore the breakout lines spread throughout, as these have no bearing on this chart, I'm looking at the PA and the S+D Zones.

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
For various reasons too boring to get into here, I didn't run the 500 on the H4 tf today, preferring instead to go in on the H1 break of the bar leading up to the US Open (I call this The Dead Zone). I run this set-up every day but don't use the 500 as one of the main players - today, however, it looked like the strongest bet of the day, so it went to the top of the list.
Boy, am I glad it did...
Looking at shorts only.
Lead In 12:52 uk...
Triple-Dip of entries. Here shown as update at 17:35 uk...
The entries would normally be done Wick-Zone style on the set-up bar, however I added a good bit of extra oomph by going in as price left the Supply Zone.
Some days you're just in the right place at the right time.
