Oh, Lem, I like both hours, I have been looking at both. Now I can back 2x as much . The way I have to trade it makes more sense to only trade one way after the trade has started. What I have in mind worked in FX. Hypothetical - 1 contract on entry. every 3 points it pulls back enter with another 1 contract unless it is obviously spear heading. (but after about two months of watching) it always plays the same range in NY. ALSO - for those who do not know. I do not trade until the :30. the first 30 minutes are useless in my opinion. (if they break high or low, I increase my parameters.

I am thinking that this could be a good approach for The Dax as well, the way it (almost) always throws that small head-fake out the gate.

I was on an island, well in the mental workshop devising a plan to get my trading back on track, which I have. Missed the entry today, but got in on a pull back at r1 and it hit 1.25 points profit fast than I could blink my eyes! (the kind of resolution papa wants! )

I didn't get the traditional entry today, waited for a pullback to a low value area where it kept its strength and then exploded with the market opening. banking 1.25 points. The days it is easy I don't make as much but guess what I lose less hair. booyah.

Hey Chappy - so nice to see you here. I like your entry on the open or close. makes a whole lot of sense. How are you handling the little fake outs? what is your criteria on entry?

There has been some aggressive downward movement lately... is it time for the ES to finally change its trend?

There has been some aggressive downward movement lately... is it time for the ES to finally change its trend?

It'll be interesting to see how, or if, it settles down tomorrow. Seems to have bottomed out (for now) at around 18:10 uk time.

Agreed, looking for some buys tomorrow maybes. unless over night it does something weird. its been pretty sideways this month.
