I hate for my first post to, perhaps, be retarded -- but how do you download files in this forum. I tried to download one of TRO's "motherlodes" --- but how?

If I am being as stupid as Ii sound to myself as I type this, I apologise. But I have been doing this sort of thing for a long time and I can't find a way to download any file I selected.

Help please. :

PennTrader,

if you want to download the Tradestation motherlode for Aug, which is the newest one, just go to download http://kreslik.com/forums/dload.php > "motherlodes" > "Tradestation motherlodes" > "2006-08 TROs Motherlode 2006 Aug thru 8-25" > hit "Download" button.

That's it!

Thanks Michal,

I actually just returned from sucessfully downloading the file. It is quite simple when there is a download button -- which was not there last time I went to that page. Sounds ridiculous, but there was no button. I noticed that the "new" August file was grayed-out and had no disk icon at the right -- maybe the page wasn't loaded properly or some other explanation. Either that or a long days trading has made me blind.

Thanks anyway for the quick response.

PennTrader,

you were not blind

If you are not logged in, you can't download files

Thus, no download button is showing

Also, there are no pixies - I've adeed the disk icon to the file only now since I noticed it was missing.

Thanks, I will sleep better now, knowing I haven't lost my mind!

I have been reading around the forum, found your statistical research especially interesting. I also enjoyed reading some of the "Rumpled One's" comments -- his trading mentality is very similar to mine -- although his programing ability is apparently far superior.
