TRO 2017 DONATIONAL INDICATORS

The DASHBOARD does not plot lines. TRO_HL5 is the indicator that plots the lines.

Set the input SOUND_ALERT to true and load the column inputs as follows to get alerts for when price is near the previous day high/low:

Why I use frequency distributions instead of averages.

HIGH MINUS LOW is the range.

The average range (MEAN) is 91, the MODE (most occurring) is 72 and the MEDIAN (value in the middle after sorting the values) is 79. It should be obvious to the reader (oh how I love typing that after reading it in school books when it was never obvious) why you should not trust averages when trading.

The display shows over the last 100 days the range was greater than or equal to the average range only 35% of the time.

Knowing the range from high to low is ok but know the range from high to open and open to low is even better for deciding when to exit. That, too, should be obvious to the reader.

Figured out what to call this indicator: TRO2017_PRICE_TRAVEL_ANALYZER. It is used to analyze price travel from point A to point B and point C.

Added PRICE CURRENT, PRICE_FIXED and OFFSET.

PRICE CURRENT is the current close price.

PRICE FIXED allows you to enter a specific price. Example 1.40000.

The OFFSET is used to add/subtract pips from a level. OPEN +10 pips and OPEN - 10 PIPS, for example.

The chart shows weekly open price opened above 1.40000 6 times the last 10 weeks. Out of those 6 times, the weekly low was less than the weekly open price minus 50 pips 6 times and the price closed below weekly open price minus 50 pips 5 times.
