A question or two

Postby moob » Sun Sep 13, 2009 7:23 pm

Hey TRO et al.

Many thanks for the indicators.

I have a couple of questions if thats ok. Well more than a couple actually!!

I'm trying to find something similar to TRO2009_Multi_Meter_DIBS that will show the same information but over multiple symbols. Is there such a thing and if so could you tell me the name of the indicator so I can hunt it out. Also is there something that will do the same for the BZ. ie: show BZ trade opportunities across multiple symbols in one indicator.

Also many of the new 2009 indicators do not have an x/y axis input and instead have the 'show anchor' option. Are others having problems with this? When I set 'show anchor' to true I can see the magenta anchor. When I then double click on it and then left click on it to drag the indicator only the anchor moves. If you could shed any light on how to position the 2009 indicators that would be really helpful.

Also could you you explain the difference between TRO_TRAININGWHEELS
and TRO_2009_TRAININGWHEELS

Also the difference between TRO_DYNAMIC_BZ and the 2009BZ dummies version.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards
Mark

DTB Guide

Postby Kenyuki » Mon Sep 28, 2009 1:22 am

Hello TRO,

First of all thank you very much for sending me your donational indicators.

Please, would it be possible to provide a manual for using the DTB method? I have read all the relevant threads and have used the templates and indicators on my charts as well, but still cannot understand how to actually read and use the indicators?

Thanks,
Ken

Read the threads again.

If you have a specific DTB question, please post it in one of the DTB threads.

There is the TRO2009_MP_DIBS_TRADE

You can use any of the indicators that show close - open to simulate the buy zone.

After you move the anchor, you need to set SHOW.ANCHOR to false. Then the display will move to the new position.

Also could you you explain the difference between TRO_TRAININGWHEELS
and TRO_2009_TRAININGWHEELS

TRO2009 indicators are DONATIONAL

Also the difference between TRO_DYNAMIC_BZ and the 2009BZ dummies version.

Dynamic BuyZone moves dynamically.

Hello

For some reason some of the indicators/templates don't load or they load incorrectly.

Take the Inside Bar for Dummies template. It shows the two horizontal lines showing the long/short trigger however it doesn't show the INSIDE BAR informations for all the other currencies. That whole area doesn't appear. It's missing. Basically the "H1 INSIDE BAR TRADE FOR DUMMIES" is missing.

Also when I load the InsideBarStats it only shows the stats for the EURUSD even when a different chart is open. I would also like to see the stats for GBPUSD, USDCAD, etc.

There are also some indicator that won't add to the charts. It seems like around 20% of them don't want to load for some reason. For example when I click and drag the TRO2009_BREAKOUT_COUNT onto the chart, nothing happens. I checked the indicators list and its not there.

Do you have any solutions to these problems? Should I reinstall metatrader?

Please post a chart so I can SEE what the problem is.

It sounds like you do NOT have the indicators installed correctly.

Avery, 3 level ZZ began to show '3' at that down arrow in this EU M5 chart.
Is 5min too small for 3 level ZZ? I mean the margin is sort of big. Or, it's just because we are having a break out night?

Thanks a lot!

NO.

You can use the 3 Level ZZ Semafor on any chart period.
