Thank you for the template.

How do I get it to update? All the info is staying the same no matter what timeframe or currency.

Did you load the indicators?

Are you online?

Did you check the MT4 connection to make sure you're connected?

Im having a problem adding the indicators on MT4. Ive put them in the correct folder and when i go to insert them to a chart they appear as option but they are greyed out and unable to select them to put on the chart.

Some of them are greyed out, some of them can be inserted fine

Can you advise please?

Cheers Craig

update: fixed the problem now thanks

Please post the solution so others may benefit.

Thanks.

Hi,

Basically i cant insert them using the charts toolbar.

i have had to click open the navigator window (view > navigator)

then find the indicator from the custom indicator listed > right click and add to chart.

Cheers
Craig

I think there's an upper limit for the number of indicators you can have.

I never use the toolbar for inserting indicators or templates... I guess I have too many.

I extracted the zip and didn't load the indicators into the indicators folder. All better. Template works fine now.

So my question is, if you don't use the toolbar, how do you insert the indicators? Don't I have to load them into the indicators fold when I download them?

Got a few questions and I figured I'd just ask them here so maybe they'll help someone else.

1) On the TRO_Multi_Meter_Pivot, what do the blue and purple colors signify? Above/below pivot is color x?
Have you found a specific pivot timeframe (M15, H1) that seems to signal best when scalping?

2) On the TRO_NB_SR_HiLo_Guage, what do the 1,2,3's signify? And the red/blue/orange? Is it only based off of the H1 chart?

3) The _TRO_Above_Below, does it refer to being above/below todays open price or the weekly or daily pivot? Something else? It says H1 on every timeframe, does it use the last 450 bars from the H1 chart?

4) On the TRO_SR_RR, how are the RISK and REWARD fields calculated? Is the FIB level plotted only from the support line?
What do you think about having a "H1 Bias UP/DOWN WEAK/STRONG" with the PIPs listed, under the D1 Bias? I seem to put more emphasis on the H1 Bias than the D1 Bias.

Thank you.

Got a few questions and I figured I'd just ask them here so maybe they'll help someone else.

1) On the TRO_Multi_Meter_Pivot, what do the blue and purple colors signify? Above/below pivot is color x?

Aqua is above, Magenta is below.

Have you found a specific pivot timeframe (M15, H1) that seems to signal best when scalping?

NO.

2) On the TRO_NB_SR_HiLo_Guage, what do the 1,2,3's signify?

That's the count of how many times that price has been a HIGH or LOW over the last X bars.

And the red/blue/orange?

Red(resistance) are the prices above the current price which is Orange.

Blue(support) are the prices below the current price

Is it only based off of the H1 chart?

NO. You can chart the chart period. It's an input.

3) The _TRO_Above_Below, does it refer to being above/below todays open price or the weekly or daily pivot?

Something else?

Yes, the current price.

It says H1 on every timeframe, does it use the last 450 bars from the H1 chart?

The timeframe is an input that you can change.

Default is H1 and 480 bars.

4) On the TRO_SR_RR, how are the RISK and REWARD fields calculated?

Risk is the distance between support and the go Long line.

Reward is the distance between the go Long line and resistance.

Is the FIB level plotted only from the support line?

Yes. I always set support as 0% and resistance as 100% I don't care what the books say.

What do you think about having a "H1 Bias UP/DOWN WEAK/STRONG" with the PIPs listed, under the D1 Bias? I seem to put more emphasis on the H1 Bias than the D1 Bias.

You can change the Bias to H1, it's an input.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Wow, thanks so much TRO,

Very nice bundle of goodies you have there. I can feel a bad case of OCPD beginning to flare up.

*Did you know - Human trials have found that an overdose of ICE (Intense Code Exposure) is one of the major causes of OCPD.*

One question,

I see that you use MBTrading(EFX) as your broker, but which company's version of MetaTrader do you use for your charting?

The Alpari version I have has intermittent periods of server disconnections and it sometimes appears to lag a bit with the new tick updates. So I am looking for a better one to try.

Thanks again :)
