Tro, the IB for dummies: can the IB strategy be used on a lower time frame? 5-15mins? When its loaded and I switch time frames there's lots of IB signals but whether or not it's specifically supposed to be used on the H1 I don't know.

I have a dumb question

Postby marcromero » Sat Jan 17, 2009 5:10 pm

I think I know the answer to my question but I want to be sure.

Question:

I trade the eur/usd from about 6pm mst to 10pm mst. If using the dibs method which open hour would be best to use NY or LD. I was reading the dibs post at forex factory about this method and it seems that the open hour you use depends on which pair you are trading. then I read another post and from what that guy said you should always use the LD open but only trade the first 10 hours of inside bars. If that is the case that leaves me out of this method unless I'm up from 11pm to 9a in the morning MST.
If price is betweem LD and NY opens could I trade both ways or would this be unsafe?

some advise would br great. Thanks in advance

Bug Report for 2009 Donational Indicators

Postby chuchu » Tue Jan 20, 2009 3:01 pm

TRO,

I would like to report what looks like a bug to me for two of the 2009 Donational Indicatiors.

The indicators in question are TRO2009_BuyZone_BFD and TRO2009_MPMM_CandleColor.

I can use the hot pink tab feature to move these indicators around and they stay put when the chart is minmized and maximized. However, when I shut down MT4 and then re-open it, these two indicators have not stayed put and have reverted back their original position (indeed they are even overlapping one another).

By contrast, the 2008 versions of these indicators of course required you to play around with the X and Y axis positions, but once that was set, they stayed put where you put them in all cases, i.e. when the chart was minimized and maximized and when MT4 was closed and opened again.

Postby kc8flq » Wed Jan 21, 2009 4:55 pm

Is there a setting I have to add or change in mpmm candle color to get all the info to show the arrows and other pertinent info? the arrows are turned on in the menu but nothing shows.

You need to save the chart templates.

No.

I am not sure what is going on with your system.

Do any of the other MPMM indicators work?

I would use the most recent open which would be the Sydney open.

Yes.

I sometimes use it on the M1.
