This intense breathing technique I have found can fix a lot of problems in the body. It is very simple/easy/quick/impactful :)

Below is a slightly edited version of a reply I sent today by email.

If it sounds all too familiar then just skip it

Code: Select all

The 'line method' is the easiest way to manage your money:

How quickly one 'stacks' size is based on the number of segments within the initial risk-box.

If my risk is $100 and I divide it into 8 lines then stacking occurs when the total number of lines is greater than 8.
If each line is worth $12.50 and I make 4 lines then my new trades size is (12/8)12.5 or $18.75 per line
&, if I need to adjust it to $18 even, that is simply (18.75/18)8 or 8.333 lines of $18.

 I gain 2 more lines, (10.333/8)18 = $23.25, (23.25/23)8 = 8.086 lines of $23.

Adding to active trades is a more advanced skill that gets people into trouble.

If I lose 2 lines then either have 6 lines or a can maintain 8 lines:
 (6.086/8)23 = 8 lines of $17.50

A better way to make sure that your lines survive is to allocate lines to larger charts
 eg
 H1: 6 lines
 H4: 2 lines
-------------------->
 H1: 8
 H4: 8
 D1: 4
 etc

The fastest way to spread out is to stack first:

 I have 15.086 lines of $23.
(23/12.50)15.086 = 27.758 lines of $12.50 <---return to normal size to multiply space

 Allocate lines:
 H1: 8.758
 H4: 8
 D1: 8
 W1: 2
 MN 1

Hey MO, hope all is well

In this picture i have price levels boxed out. is there something that would indicate to accumulate in these boxes or wait for a body in direction of profit as the black lines show? I ask this because for the first one it looked to be a short because price was kind of making zigzags under the pattern. thanks.

Everyone will have different ideas based on timeframe, accumulated profits, strategic repositioning, etc.

You don't need to spend your time trying to predict what price will do, simply seek to consistently apply concepts and manage your money well.

A price level is a magnet that attracts multiple closing prices.

Find a price level, create a zone, risk lines, & make lines.

All price action is breakouts and the thing behind the breakouts that we call 'patterns'.

What matters most is position sizing, line management, and stacking; the chart is just there to show you how to best to
these things.
