And why did one moderator censor one of my posts?
I think it's because he cannot defend his position.......and has an extremely fragile ego. If you want to defend why he censored me, please do so. I'd LOVE to hear it.

If TRO asks me not to post in his thread or a thread then you will not see a post after it or if he tells me to take the conversation to my thread then you will see me do so immediately and without protest...because that is what civilized people do.

The title of this thread is "the ideas that I [use]" &, as the name suggests, the contents herein require no explanation; they are simply mine.

If I use the magical outline of a pony to trade breakouts then what is that to you (rhetorical, because you understand now that you will not be posting in this thread)?
If someone else has tried for years to use 'pony magic' and has failed then that is not my problem as a persons success or failure is his own.

I don't owe you any explanation, I am telling you not to post in this specific thread.

Is it dangerous or are your regurgitating what you read in a book?

Reality does not affect everyone equally; if I work on an overhead power line then there is a good chance that I am going to die while someone with proper training is most certainly going to live.

You stand there with your hands on your hips telling that guy that what he is doing is dangerous, and he recognizes the danger, but he is telling you that he has touched the line many times and that he feels perfectly safe

The more lines that you have on your chart the harder it is to consider new information.

Patterns form around the closing prices of H4+ charts, if that makes them easier for you to spot.

You should mark a chart the way you see it because the only thing that you can trade is what you see.

It doesn't take very many lines to describe the price action (more than three always feels like too many).

Which of these diagonal lines would you remove from the chart?

I'm a bit worried about you........
I hope that you realize that Market Profile isn't exactly horizontal lines, nor is it the self proclaimed almighty one's self annointed and blessed specific geometric shapes or "magical" angles.

But your post gives me a glimmer of hope that this board might progress out of the dark ages and allow some other poster opinions for a change without threat of being banned or censored.

Kind regards,
John

Please do not worry about me.

Banning happens when someone is DISRESPECTFUL.

I've never been rude or disrepectiul, but have been threatened several times with being banned.

Have I used humor to disagree with something? Yes! Have I stated an opinion contrary to moderators concepts? Yes!

BUT, I've been censored simply for disagreeing with a certain moderator's concepts.

When, and if, this board transitions to Michael Kreliks concept of being "liberal" with thought...it might actually become an open and honest discussion about actual trading.

John S.

Your posts are usually in the same vein as this one. You make it easy for people to choose to be annoyed with you. How about you knock it off?! :x :x

Now, if you have something to say about trading, by all means say it. But if you continue posting like this, you will be banned. I, for one, am tired of reading your posts about the past. LEAVE IT ALONE!! That should be easy for you to understand. So post about trading or don't post at all. If you have a beef with someone on this forum, use private messages or email and work it out. Otherwise, make sure the next time you post it is about the topic of the thread.

BALL IN YOUR COURT...

For the record, do not PM about the past.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

Please do NOT PM me with trading or coding questions, post them in a thread.

I get your analogy, MO. Maybe dangerous wasn't the best choice of words for this discussion. But don't the statistics back up what I am saying about "house money"?

Think of it this way, you walk into a casino, put down ten $100 bills and you win. Now you have twenty $100 bills. You put the money into a bag, shake it up, reach in and pull out one $100 bill.

Is it HOUSE MONEY or YOUR MONEY that you are holding in your hand?

Do they stop you at the door as you are leaving and ask you WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING WITH THE HOUSE'S MONEY?

MO, you are always welcome to post in my threads. I believe I mentioned one time that the topic might be better in your thread. That was for continuity since it was about "space".

I kept that lines because i see BO's coming from there, the one at the top, which with the question marks on it, could be a new bullish break out of a bigger pattern.. but at this time i'd like to have it removed because there is nothing that i see FOR NOW.

(I think that the one with the Xs on is something happened in the past, on a lower tf)

Not in those exact words

Your money is finite where as the house's money is infinite, that is the difference.

I am saying that OPM is a subgroup of YOUR MONEY, not that OPM belongs to anyone else.

Should gains be treated differently? That is a matter of opinion.
