Do you know how OLD these lines are?

Sometimes you don't need to draw anything more.

If you follow the blue links back as far as they go and scroll down the page then
you will understand what is going on.

How many pictures must you see before you understand the importance of spotting cones?

Can you cross the street without looking both ways? Yes.
Do you want to cross the street without looking both ways?

And just for fun we will steal a chart from Raghee Horner and hit it with some 15 degree angles.

*sings* "I'll show you ma-a-gic, 15 degrees, girl you don't believe me? I'll show you tonight!"

These are some of the different ways that channels can be drawn.
I used "down/up only" on Raghee's chart.

Thanks for this, I don't know who Raghee is but I do know of that TRO fella. It looks like we arrive at the same conclusions
just a bit differently. I use that awesome TRO tool and connect the squares. I don't know if the chart engine in TS supports squaring-
I know Multi charts does not but it's like magic on ninja for me.

If you can locate the cone then channels will draw themselves.

I developed these methods (15 degrees, "cone first", up/down, middle, bounce) so that EVERYONE
can be an expert overnight...
that we might finally focus on the important things like risk management, trading plans, and zeros.

I have purchased a few of Raghees books in the past.
I am not her biggest fan, but she does have a lot of good things to say and I do watch her posts.

Yes, everything is related, we are all seeing the same things and describing it in a way that our own brain understands it;
all technical analysis is simply a drawing of what your brain is seeing.

That TRO fella is the foundation of everything that we show here; we don't trade channels, we trade to/from horizontal lines.

Channels are used as an indication of "overbought/oversold".

Why not just use historical range protections?

When a crash zone is hit start looking for bodies on a smaller chart.

Horizontal to horizontal.

Why do I need 15 degrees when you said
"Price rarely makes it to the moon"

If you have previous experience drawing channels/forks then you will know the answer &
if you do not then there is no point in me explaining it to you.

If you cannot see it with your own eyes then it will never be of use to you.
