If you want to make channels really easy apply the TRO SR indicator. I don't know why it works as well as it does
but it is simply amazing at projecting fractals. Great thread btw.

When people are in a trend that reverses they think 'I had a feeling that it would reverse' &, when it continues, 'I had a feeling that it would continue; they get so caught up in 'prediction' that when they have a string of losses they say 'I have lost my ability to predict'.

You cannot predict, you can only make observations.

Let go of vast charting knowledge and take rest in simplicity, they are both heading in the same direction!

A young man spends his time in books, but an old man has just seen it all before; both claim that they have
knowledge, but the knowledge of one is flawed by lack of experience.

This past week I have been listening to pastor Joseph Prince on the topic of right believing.
In one sermon he talks about how we struggle to produce fruit when we have no power in ourselves to produce anything; all power comes from the vine, we need only rest in the vine and fruit will be produced.

When you struggle to trade take rest knowing that all power to be fruitful comes from the vine!

The more areas in your life where you find rest the greater your fruitfulness

Learn, grow, prosper.

Wow-
I have read thousands of threads and been kicked off a lot of sites. This is quite possibly the best post I have ever
read. This *is the holy grail. Believing - Trusting and ahem- Loving yourself is what trading is all about.

Everything in neat little windows? No way!

EDIT: people always look at my channels and tell me that I draw them after the fact...so now I always "have to"
link back to the previous post where I drew them well beforehand. It is not me, it is 15* angles, they are magical
EDIT2: yes, 15* & scale fix everything!

Thank you again for the information provided in your thread. It's funny, I have always traded this way
using the TRO SR tool for some reason your words resonated and make the thought process even easier.

Especially this line:
If you see price closing above/below 'something' then it is not 'prediction' to say that price will continue in that direction, it is just the current facts.

Here is today's chart encoded with your words using the TRO SR tool.
A thing of beauty. I have included the higher tf as well. Many thanks again
All this time I thought I was the only one who traded like this, When everyone else tried to
convince me I was wrong and my P&L not possible. LOL
