Technical analysis is an observation, not a "law" or secret knowledge.

If you see something different then do something different, but trade what you see.

As the Mormons are so fond of saying, "nobody always or nevers".

Could it be a good idea to go down to M1 and take advantage of the sentiment that is there?
Being more active with space, while sentiment lasts, if that makes sense.

Edit: This was a comment to the previous chart of GBP/USD, but also a general question.

If price is volatile, range bound, and trendy then yeah.

If price is moving sideways on a small chart then you will want to go higher; sometimes
I have to move off of the M5 to an M15 chart & move my M30 to H1.

Thanks!
Before when I was trading options on stocks I always wanted a bull market because everything - chart reading etc. becomes easier, not realizing that there are miniature bull/bear markets from the extremes almost every day..

How early could one have known that the support would be false?
From what I can see it is only at the last circle.

Edit: Sorry, meant the last support where you drew the descending line.
