Everything was in the first post, "body in the direction of profit, wick in the direction of loss", but it took a
thousand posts of me repeating myself for some reason.
There are many traders whose technical knowledge I appreciate, but there are only a handful of traders who have inspired me.
Ken Roberts: more motivational than technical, he taught me to believe in myself.
Ted Warren: he taught me to think about what big players are thinking.
His seminar, on cassette, and his teaching charts are in a rare Ken Roberts course called "Advanced Commodity Trading Techniques". One of these days I'll have it converted to mp3 and pdf.
Avery Horton: he taught me that trading is about truth, statistics, & horizontal lines.
I fight him tooth & nail, but I come around ever so slowly
Honorable mentions:
ProAct Traders.
Joe Ross.
What do u recommend by ted warren?

I value his 1978 seminar, but I can see how it would be easy for other people to miss the pearls.
I have purchased his book on stocks twice & gave it away twice maybe the third time is the charm.

I think Joe Ross is down near Austin too.
