It's such a beautiful / warm / cozy / adventurous home
I bet Jalarupa wants one...
I looked at the constructions photos, I don't know much about building homes but I'm not sure a home like that would be legal, able to pass building codes in America.
I've been looking for a potential new home, getting sick of America...
The ideas that I trade by:

Secret Home
Check this one out!
Sadly the authorities came in and shut him down because it didn't meet code

Yes I am totally in love with that dwelling... it just so happens that the homes we will be building will be on hill sides... (so i will defs look at the design and incorporate it and add a little African style for good measure...)
As for America the so called land of the "free (to do as we tell you)" I would get out of there while its still legal to... *just thinking out aloud
America is pretty much a police state with the rest of the so called "developed world" not far behind (eu, oz, britain) China's a full on totalitarian regime and so that's as much of police state as anyone could imagine...
For me the only places I would want to live would be in the African rural areas / bush or India (as their timezones agree to world markets... I would only have to start trading at around 12pm everyday for London Open and until 7pm for NY midday. The mornings would be mine to do with as I please... )

I have been concerned about it becoming illegal to leave USA when the stuff hits the fan...
Those trading hours sound good to me
Building codes in South Africa...?
Sorry I almost fell off my chair... Well I'm sure that in the cities there are... but as far as the outlying areas go, due to the lure of jobs and earning money in the cities, scores of 'informal settlements' AKA squatter Camps have organically developed just outside many metropolitan areas and are a fairly common eyesore, I mean sight in South Africa, and believe me... if these guys can build houses out of iron sheets and get away with it then I'm sure they will not mind little old me and my 4 star mud hut...
I can't get why you would want to move there instead of staying here and just living off the land, farming and earning a living as a farmer?
Sure education plays a big part in this, and its my hope that people realize what they have right in their back yards and how they can make their land economically viable business... I mean we all gotta eat...
But yeah India would be my ultimate destination (for the trading hours) SA isn't that bad, we catch London at 9am and NY at 2pm and NY is normally quieter by 9pm (lunchtime)
Rishikesh, Uttapradesh, Ganges Valley India
This is a screen saver I wouldn't mind waking up to every morning...

Seeing the first photo, I'm guessing that building codes are not very strict
I hate big cities. I don't get why people like living in them, especially in like the downtown areas. I had to go to Chicago for a wedding, a pretty big city here in America, and couldn't wait to get out of there!
