When the daily and weekly candle colors are the same...

I'd say that we need the long term extremes and we need 'something' else.

'Something' is a 'significant' close over, but it is not necessarily the current long term color.

For instance we may get a long term close over and then a wickdolls;
the current candle is red but we should be heading long:

Instead of looking at 'color' ask yourself what the simple truth is.

I sum up trading in one sentence:
Bodies show the way & wicks show not the way, but if you see differently then do differently

The hardest part of trading is utilizing the movement within long term price bars to accumulate size BEFORE the large chart moves

200 pips can be $200 or $10000, you can labor to be profitable or you can labor to be successful.

"Bodies show the way & wicks show not the way, but if you see differently then do differently"

Isn't that the same as trading with the candle color??

Not exactly...

It is closer to 'trade what you see' than it is to 'candle color'

My take on channels, etc. I did these at about 9:45am or so, and went to run errands. I returned and captured this chart a bit after 2pm.

I didn't expect the downward sloping lines to be useful for very long, since they were based on so little price action. For the upward sloping ones, there are several false breakouts followed by some areas of interest.

Yes, MO, I recognize this is rather short term stuff. But there is still some decent price action for building space/lots.

I start by spending 10 seconds on each chart from MN to M5, skipping H1, and then come to rest on M30.

As a rule, I click a higher chart before looking at a smaller chart; resting on M30 I would click H4 before clicking M15, M5.

Code: Select all

If there is nothing worth trading then it is back to Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker.
My only complaint with the game is that the royalties need to be adjusted to:
 KK 15, AA+ 16, staying is 14
Middle trips is 0 or 1
Straights are 5 points in the middle

My xCC give a 2x perspective so clicking on M30 is like looking at H1...

you could say that my charts are:
2+ day
8 hour
1 hour
30 & 10 minute.

Oh you are talking about that white and orange custom chart I
suspect, so that makes sense.
