v8power wrote:MO glad you said that as I had just started reading Blind Mouse. Should I just skip it and start with The Ideas that I trade by thread. I should admit that it took me reading NLA and Lux's thread about 3 or so times just to understand body in direction of profit, wick in direction of loss. It takes me forever to grasp's something, but Im persistent. Thanks.

I will apologize ahead of time for asking this question as I have not finished this thread yet, but its kind of a time sensitive one. MO in the blind mouse thread you said "those who have a position of 10:1 from a yearly extreme own an account reset button; it is probable that you will double your account by the end of the year if you just leave the position alone." Which made me think how cool that would be like every newbie trader.

But gbp/jpy has just hit highs it hasn't seen since Oct 2008. So since I'm not done with either the blind mouse or ideas u trade by thread, I was just wondering if you could give a brief explantion of what you would look for, for this to be a valid trade. Thanks

This is the basic idea:

When posting pics to this thread I would appreciate it if you place them in quotes using:

quote and then /quote, placing each in [] and placing the link in the middle.

They are not 'filler' candles or even truly custom candles, it is the same chart shifted one; two expressions of the underlying chart.

Mo, Thank you very much for these have loaded them on, what beauty, you can see the levels so more clearly. Going to watch for a while, to see the moves. I have also instigated a 'risk box x points from the high/low extreme which should be my get in points, to give a good lot average. Slowly slowly getting there. Thank you.

Sorry about that MO. Thanks for the quick reply, makes perfect sense. I have finally got a basic foundation for zlines and momo's, not a system but ideas that guide me to a trade. That has been working out awesome for me, so I figured I better getting working on this stuff. Thanks again for everthing.

under the 'colors' tab, you can set the 4th color to 'none' and that will get rid of the line chart.
