Just applying it to my charts. Over 300 pips for the day off of one pair. Only traded one pair. Didn't use HTF just 5m and 1hour. SL was 10 pips. Not to shabby.

And your not a trader extraordinaire?!?

 :^o

Being humble has serverd me well in my life. The gentlemen who trains me squatted over 900, deaded over 800 and benched over 500. He still says he is not strong. So It is all just a matter of perspective. I choose to say I am not a good trader, so I don't get over confident. Maybe I am a little bit better then I say, but just a little

You have x% to risk and your goal is not to make small gains. Your goal is either to lose all of x or make 10%,100%,1000%. Here is how you risk .1% per 10 pips, 1% max risk for the whole week and still add a zero by the end of the week (over 4,000pips gained). This is just my way of looking at the markets. I don't want normal or average.

Your mind is not twisted.

All successful traders have come to grips with loss.
They think about loss in a different light than those who are unsuccessful.
Getting what a person wants out of life is Impossible without RISK.
You are just someone willing to put it on the line.
Your have a willingness to let go.

This is far from twisted.

Thanks for the compliment pro

Purple lines show how price moves. Yellow line show the zline for when prices final shows some momo and the blue shows where it broke out. Price will almost always touch and play with the breakout line first. So it does and all the traders who moved sl to be and cuz of that it sends price back. So price still wants to go down and since all those sl have been triggered it now makes it way to the yellow line. There it meets more sl's and buy orders(however you want to look at it). Its to strong and sends price away and now there is a pink zline for another breakout. Prices test it twice and couldn't overcome all the sl and buy orders so it has to go up.

I look at it like a game of pacman. Price is pacman and he tries to eat the pips but he will hit spots with lots of sl and buy or sell orders. He will eat as much as possible, but if there are to many he has to leave and try again latter. Each time he returns to the same line the more and more orders he eats up so each visist weakens a line. Eventually he will eat through all the orders and then he is allowed to cross the line. But Im a little different in the head, so take what I say with a grain of salt

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this, v8power - it was very helpful.

Your welcome. Once you learn to see price and how it moves on your own terms and not anyone else's then you can literally rip pips out of the market with no effort. Look where price came from, and map out all the places it will go. Do it for yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly and minutes charts. Price has to respect certain lines and others it can cross with very little effort.

Everything is ok to post in here, the more the better. Aqua lines show tp area's and magenta show sell area's. Look how perfectly they hit price and line up. Weekly chart just shows the weekly mz trade.gbpnzdpro-mn1-tradeking-forex-llc.png

Additional levels.

I've been around ZL's from the start and I could never put my finger on what made one work and another fail ON A CONSISTENT BASIS.
Using the last UP/DOWN bar of a move to play off has really zeroed in on something that looks special from a historical perspective.

Gotta give the guy his props. (ICT)
Everybody for years would post ZL's but no one could define EXACTLY what they were looking for.
He has. (ICT)

Ouch. I hate to admit it because he is such a prick.

Whatever helps you see. It was Zapzings posts that helped me see. The ZL on 1H charts can be powerful.

This is how all my trading ideas start. Ideas broken down into rough ideas and me just throwing it on charts until something clicks. The "price speed increases by 2 decreases by half" has always stuck with me So while this chart really shows nothing, it is the basic idea of what I have done for everything in the past.

Yes, no kidding, I've been searching and searching on kreslik as I wanted to revisit them.
Only ones I find are in a reply post by others.
Random.

Steve W. of nobrainertrades.com taught this as "fanning trendlines" when he was @ chris lori's workshop.

After the 3rd line price was ob/os.

Bout to drop the wife off and it's back home for 2nd workout session. yup, yup.

Defining zlines is super easy and the basis of my trading. A zline just show a place where price did something(broke out/beginning of momo) and certain lines are weaker or stronger then others. Strong ones hold and you trade away from. This is why when member post and say hey this bar is 2x the last bar why didn't this trade work. Its because that bar wasn't really momo or was not the zline that was supposed to hold. Zlines can mark a bunch of things.

We as a forum took something very simple and complicated the hell out of.

Also I never completely mark everything I see on a chart. It would clutter it up to long and take to long to make. I already spend 15m- an hour when I mark up charts to post.
