The longer the micro trend is the less probable you will get high R values. You can see there were 2 moves earlier on that down trend that made decent R.

Thanks for the input. I have noticed that.. when nearer the extreme the best my chances are.

The longer the micro trend is the less probable you will get high R values. You can see there were 2 moves earlier on that down trend that made decent R.

Here is one of those nuggets of knowledge that I was looking for. This plays into the small mental block I have when trading this setup. If price has moved to far I wont even look at the pair normally. But get into early then you have the chance of getting whipped saw (possibly). Not sure what point im trying to rely here, but it was comforting to see alais pretty much confirm a thought I had.

I see your also doing the more aggressive sl and using the momo bar and not the swing. Am I correct in this assumption? Also awesome job

It depends on the situation. BUt I generally do..

I like to place it where I think price wont come. and have some things to look out that will make me close.

Some times is hard to place it at the Momo. Also sometime I Use momo bar for confirmation but wait for a retrace to enter.

Mixing some experience and observation with the DeadHorse Rules!
