To recap what I posted earlier. The held profit area worked out pretty well. When that quad bottom support broke, it was nothing but stops getting hit till about 102.30

You could of traded this both going short and long.

Below is the perfect example of why Held Profit is very important.


The chart below is the Commitement of Traders from the CTFC for the Euro. Only the Large Speculators were considered. These are usually funds that buy/sell the contracts just for speculative purposes.

After the breakout, about 50,000 more contracts were Long on the euro. Many where sitting at a fat profit, and then they were completely wiped out before Euro continued the trend higher.

I have got a tendency to over hold positions like that.
How not to get zero-ed out when have profits held?
