bones, I believe you are looking for buy zone time, with user definable time parameters. pro traders buy zone is in the motherlodes, I'm thinking buy zone skyline. I can't remember where. Happy digging.

buyzone questions

Postby nickohorny » Mon Oct 31, 2011 5:02 pm

Hi Tro and everyone else!

I have a few buyzone questions, so please could I get some help on them:

1) Do you advise to only enter one direction (long or short) like rat trading? On this method and EVERY other method you teach these days?

2) In this method ? do we enter asap at the beginning of the H1 CANDLE, and once long or short ? never re-enter a trade at the zones again within the hour? So one entry per hour only?

3) Is there any rule of thumb for entering long or short? If D1 is down, is it advisable to avoid LONG entries using buyzone? Etc etc?

4) If stopped out ? do you reenter a trade within the long/short zones?

5) On the chart I have posted I have (TRO2010_BUYZONES) how do I get the entry prices in tenth pip? AND how can I extend the lines to the right side of the graph? IS this the latest buyzone indicator?

Thanks for all the help again.

Simple and easy, no thinking involved...

Set with a 10 pips target, this is a red light for me for taking profit.
Like you said in earlier posts, you don't need a 5 min chart.

Hi Tro and everyone else!

I have a few buyzone questions, so please could I get some help on them:

1) Do you advise to only enter one direction (long or short) like rat trading? On this method and EVERY other method you teach these days?

IF YOU WANT TO TRADE LIKE A RAT THEN ONLY TRADE IN ONE DIRECTION.

2) In this method ? do we enter asap at the beginning of the H1 CANDLE, and once long or short ? never re-enter a trade at the zones again within the hour? So one entry per hour only?

YOU ENTER THE TRADE WHEN THE PRICE IS IN THE ZONE.

3) Is there any rule of thumb for entering long or short? If D1 is down, is it advisable to avoid LONG entries using buyzone? Etc etc?

THE BUYZONE IS BASED ON THE DAILY OPEN PRICE... SO YOU ARE ALWAYS TRADING WITH THE D1 CANDLE COLOR.

4) If stopped out ? do you reenter a trade within the long/short zones?

THE ONLY PLACE TO ENTER IS WITHIN THE ZONE

5) On the chart I have posted I have (TRO2010_BUYZONES) how do I get the entry prices in tenth pip? AND how can I extend the lines to the right side of the graph? IS this the latest buyzone indicator?

I CODED THE INDICATOR TO DISPLAY FULL PIPS. I HATE THE TENTH PIPS...LOL!!

Thanks for all the help again.
