The first box is how large your pincushion was before the 7/12 entry.

I just closed out half my lots for 100 pips... I have a question...? Have I scaled in correctly for taking half my lots off the table...?

The cleaner the chart the better:

Mo where do you get the 103pip box from for the initial long position?
if i see this right there are 15 lots with 92pip left from the short. You increase your lot size from 15 to 25 on the long trade. This means your box should get smaller not bigger.

or do i understand there something wrong

i think i understand...because we made money on the short before we can recalculate the initial BOX$/risk ....we can buy more lots this way

I did what you did, printed it off and just filled in the details.

I'm away today and don't have my scribbles to compare to yours.

That is true, it's not so much about asking questions, but asking the right questions :)

Most people want everything laid out on a silver platter for them and when it's not they say "I can't figure this out" or "I don't understand"

Strong vs Weak Language

The following are some examples of words that are generally strong and weak:

Strong:
will
can
must
plan
definitely

Weak:
maybe
trying
possibly
hoping
probably

We must retrain our minds to use only strong language.

PebbleTrader,

it is not enough to use strong language :)

example
"I will be a profitable trader"
is a waste of time to tell ourselves since it uses future tense and actually tells our brain "I am NOT a profitable trader."
Instead we must use present tense and say
"I AM a profitable trader"
this forces our brain to make the statement true.

I would recommend everybody go and check out Neuro Linguistic Programming (Richard Bandler and John Grinder) as a valuable resource for changing your brain to be helpful rather than a hindrance... and believe me your brain is a bigger hindrance to you then you could ever possibly imagine
