And there are only a handful of traders that are actively posting. What gives? Wonder how many geniuses or prodigies the world will never know of,because they were too afraid?

RISE!!

Think, what would batman do?

Sorry, couldn't resist it! In all seriousness - it's a bit like playing a musical instrument. Lots of people can do it to some degree at least. Some are good, some are in fact, very, very, good. However, the majority of those musicians are happy playing to themselves, they could never, ever, see themselves playing in front of a crowd of strangers - and imagine a stadium tour! Unthinkable.

What my heavy-handed example is getting at is that it's a difficult thing for most people to put themselves out there (even among friends as we are here). It can be intimidating for the unsure.

(On the other hand, there are those who relish the roar of the crowd :P)

Who said we are friends  only kidding. Much love. Agreed, Most people just play with themselves (I think that came out wrong :) ).

I think alot of folks have an inferiority complex. They see posts by Mo or Tro, say wow, I can never be like that. We are all human indeed, and I firmly believe everyone of us has hidden genius within. Just covered up with alot of limiting beliefs that we keep us 'grounded'.

Question: Who do you think was taking a gamble here?

Reflect: "Don't cry to quit, cry to keep going" - Eric Thomas.

Wait hold up, repeat that! I said, When the thought of NEVER giving up makes you literally cry - then my friend you have already arrived.

Next time your buddy ask you to teaching him to trade. Drive with him crosstown, and observe his behavior while he drives.

What is the reaction to being cut off?
How calm under near fender benders (maybe hard to observe, unless you help out  for the sake of observing of course
Speed limits?
Music? Blasting?

Imo, Professional chauffeurs with clients, make the best traders. (No, I not referring to NYC yellow cabs...)

Alot can be learned from the way a person drives. Its really weird. Folks who are totally calm and mellow, become raging lunatics behind the wheel. I don't get it..

Yes - so true. I totally agree on all that above about driving and chauffeurs. Good observation. Thanks for sharing. :)
