Getting the timing of zero correct is crucial!! If not, our accounts will get zeroed by Banks/IFs rather than we pinching their monies!!

I believe, being on the right side of news helps in making some quickies and gives extra boost to our accounts

So far so good. Just watching you recently is very interesting. You can make money trading but you are self destructive. You will have trades in good profit and let them go big against you. Then you throw out really big orders and lose to seal the deal.

Trading is a marathon. You make your money along the way not with one jackpot, hope and pray trade.

$7 is 1% of $700 and I don't see why you couldn't make $35 a week (5%).

35Cents at 100 pips.
24Cents at 150 pips.

I 100% agree with everything is this post

AJ will get to the 72 area fairly easily.
I'm looking for mid 60's eventually.

From there a spaceship can be built and I'll be able to live in orbit looking down I mere mortal scalpers using "big" lots. :smt032

Ah, I was talking about "Near term" scenario!!

IMHO, for price to get to mid 60 levels there has to be some real shock to the global economy, like Brexit taking place, markets panicking followed by global recession. Those levels happened in 2008, which was a major global recession.

So with your current AJ position, are you intending to ride a drawdown till mid 60's, in case it goes there and then add bigger size at that level to ignite your spaceship? If so, wouldn't it be a very expensive spaceship?

These positions do not have stop losses.
M.O. said in another post recently that using big lots is dangerous as price could gap 100's of pips anyway.
So what is the use of a SL? Except maybe to keep yourself honest? LOL

Near term and expensive are both relative terms.
1 day, 1 month, 1 year. ( I have a 10mo. Old at 47 yrs. of age)
$2-$300 worth of drawdown to make $3-5k?
Hmmmmmmm

Pro this is your thread and you are free to post what you want. But I feel its comments like that is what keeps you from succeeding. You have proven to me and everyone, that when you take trading seriously, you are more then capable of being profitable. But do you and do what makes you happy. I am the last person to judge someone on trading.

On an intraday basis Chris Lori says price will chew the wick. Sketchy example shown, not quite all the way though.

On a daily I say not so much so.

Less than an hr. to go for truth.

Trippy how after all those years of trying every indy known to mankind......
I reverted back to candlesticks and ZLs.

I may be about to go full circle and settle on bars.

Joe Ross does it.
Without indys and using bars price is clear.

Woooohoooooo
3 day weekend!!!!
Again.
Yes!!!!

Holy crapazilla,

If I would have held my trade from 75.65 Id be up $300 + atm.

Thats like 30% trade!!

I had tried once before the last spike down and stopped out for a small loss when I saw it was going for another leg lower. (M1 told me so, LOL)
See below entry.
