A good number of times price will continue in the direction that it re-entered a cone; if it looks like it re-entered from two directions then choose the direction in which price closed over something.

I agree. There are always more trades. PRO should stop being so stubborn and try to get the account over $800 as a goal. Baby steps!

I do not sell, only BUY.

Which is why I recently ditched a few pairs.
I only trade in the direction of + float.

So why would I close such a small position?
I can trade long any time I wish.
Plenty of margin avail.

In the grand scheme of things I have entered inside a "pattern"
A very small pattern.

There are only 2 options for price.

1. Head up toward a previous pattern,
2. Drop down and form another pattern.

Flip a coin, both can be profitable.

Going lower has the potential for even higher returns.

Your unrealized loss of about 9% is not a good thing. When your nav and bal are above $800 you hit the goal. Should of cut your trades when your nav was almost $790 and reevaluate.

Why would me and MO say this to you? Probably because we want you to fail...um NO!

Step #1: learn advantageous points to enter.
Step #2: learn when to exit, win or lose.
Step #3: use an effective money management plan.

There are many good types of entries that have an edge. The entries can be mechanical in my opinion.

Exiting with a profit can be just as complex as exiting with a loss. This part is more of an art and takes the most practice and mental training.

Money management is important and needs to be tailored to your skill. Risking 1000 pips to win 100 pips is a plan to fail.

I had ribeye at outback with my wife. I am not a fan of the place but the ribeye was good.
