Im not trading all week. I have two long term trades in place that have already made me triple digit returns.

Place a buy and sell trade at 2am est. Go to bed. Check charts at 8am est. Did you win or lose. Take notes of what price did. You will notice a pattern if you have lost. Then you should know which way to trade. Also take notes on what happens with news. What happens the next day after news.

Never take a big lose. Werent you taking hundreds of pips loses just a few weeks ago. Talk about the mother of all big loses.

That sounds like a much better Idea than trying to explain an elaborate system and expecting me to reproduce the same results as the creator.

Yes, I was holding on to a big loser on Ucad.
I committed to being in a position for 1 month and I chose the wrong direction on the 2nd entry.
Then added to it. My one month was up and you came along so I closed it all out.

Sure does feel good knowing i can now take a shower and a crap without the back yard stinking to high heaven. LOL
That was a LOT of digging. I rented a ditch witch for the trenches.
I kept hitting rocks and had to break em' up with a sledge hammer,
What a pain but well worth it.

Now to the roof, I'm going with metal instead of shingles.

Keep at it pro. I'll give you my honest opinion on what i would do if i were u. Delete all charts but g/u. Loaded 2 charts of each 5, 15min, 1, 4 hr, DWM. Do a cc of 3 bars on each chart. Load 1 hr candle over lay on 5 a 15 min.

Look for stupidly obvious momo on DWM. Then i would back test frankfurt breakout for the past 5 years. Take notes on news releases, reversal days, days after news, US breakouts of the box. Build your confidence in this one idea. Learn it in and out and how it reacts.

Trade it for a month solely and i mean solely. Dont even look at another chart. Who cares what u might miss, remember you have been a losing trader for 7 years (so you wouldn't have traded what u saw profitable anyway). Trade your trade plan to a t. If u miss a trade thats your own fault, own it and stop complaining.

I always place two trades. One is for a tp that is double what i risked. The other is for big gains, like 200 hundred today. You should start to see which ones will give u good gains and what ones wont. Use your HTF for holding longer, take notes when u lose and when u win. What samethings happened each win and lose, look for patterns.

Now this next advice i wouldn't recommend but it is honestly what i would do. Trade from 2am est until u have to work or 11 am est. Sleep after work. I know ur going to say i have a family. Its only a month. Plus u have the weekends. Imangine how much time u have lost with them over the past 7 years, way more then what iam advising.

I have one more step but i wont post it, cuz its way to extreme and i dont want u blaming me for ruining ur life when u do it wrong. I became successful at forex not by luck, but by extreme work ethic. I have traded/backtested four days straight. No sleep, no eating, only bathroom breaks and a computer went with me. My last apt my room was covered in printouts from kreslik. The kitchen walls were covered in quotez and ideas. I have dozen of notebooks with testing, printouts and what not. Besides from MO there are probably very few who work harder at this then me.

I think that you would like trading commodities as the prices of real goods are easier to predict.

Seasonality + you can feel it, touch it, taste it; you understand the real more than you understand the imaginary.

50 pips total on two SELL trades.
One while eating dinner with my wife and daughter @ Whataburger.
The other while sleeping.

I was wrong about overall direction as some would say the trend is up.
Zoom out of the day chart and the trend is down.
Look @ Monthly extremes and GU is closer to the bottom than the top.

Did you tried DAILY WICK ZONE and WEEKLY WICK ZONE? Just check DWZ on H1 and WWZ on H4 for some pairs. Amaizing trades this week UC, GU, AJ....

No I have not.
I have been very curious about that technique.
Do not have the indicators for it.

The last few years on kreslik I have only posted in my thread and read M.O.'s posts in The ideas thread.
Rarely have I scanned for new posts on the website.
I do not read ANY other threads regularly.

When I was 16 years old, the man in the cowboy hat told me that trading was easy &, because I believed him, it was so.

"Here is a set of charts, hot off the press, they are still warm, I had so and so run them over as soon as they were printed"

I thought that 30 days of printing charts & following along with Jim Prince as he marked charts would do you a lot of good.
Yes, the methods are simple, and you are going to think that you have heard it all before but, like the people who count on their fingers, you will find that you don't really know what you think you know.

I watched all of ICT's market maker vids in 3 days.
I've re-watched 1/2 of them since then and a couple of his youtube vids.

More learning, does not mean more $$.
Seriously, I really don't know what to do.
The more I "learn" the more lost I become.

It would not have been within my "space".

I've been down the overlay/CC/indy road before. It doesn't help me see what is already on the chart in front of me. One pair it is.

I have loaded 5 yrs of GU history into my tester and will take a look. This is one thing I must do daily that I have neglected. Test. Test. Test.

This advice I will not take. I've been there, done that. Slept very, very little the first few years. Eventually thought I was going to have a heart attack.
Had to go to a heart specialist to see what was up with the fluttering/palpitations.......She said. Stop drinking coffee and get some sleep. LOL
The first few years of trading I was a zombie. On my netbook ALL night during 3rd shift (London), then when I got home I sat at the computer all day without eating/sleeping/going to the restroom. Could not miss ONE tick of the markets. Only when the market was actually like watching paint dry, EVEN ON M1, would I catch a couple hrs sleep. (3:00-5:00)
Then wake up and do it all again.
Printed out thousands and thousands of kreslik pages to take to work and study. It was insane.
Vacations....always on my netbook or phone, Wife thought TRO or M.O. was my secret love. hahahah
We'd be at a huge hotel on the coast and I'd send my wife down to the pool by herself while I stayed in the room on my PC to read kreslik and watch the market tick.
I wasn't an addict!! Haahaha
The main thing you did that I did not was that you used your time EFFICIENTLY.
Mine was random indicator based with very little self study.
Trading can be done in a naturalistic way which does not require fighting against nature.
The easy way, is the right way, the right path.
It is possible to trade wildly profitably looking at charts for a total of 30 min a day.
Time lost? Ouch. You are so correct. There has been plenty and the life continues to drain from me on the daily...12.5 hrs of it each and every work day.

Funny how you say the computer went with you.....I always took my laptop or netbook to the shitter. The great thing about today with the new increases in technology of phones and charting platforms is that I can be much more discrete about it. heheeheheheh
