Closed one of my higher level buys @+20 pips to decrease risk of avg position.
Still holding my lower level buy @+60

Here was an easy 10 pip scalp.

Bodies or wicks?
That is what I want to know.
Here it was the body (open) not the wick.

I'll finally let you in on the secret PRO! It is both and neither. I was talking to another trader about magic levels within the range/breakout. The thing is there is no magic level. Price does and will have anywhere from 0% to 100% of a retrace.

Sometimes it matches with the magic numbers but you never really know which one if any of them will hold.

So this leads me back to the age old question of direction.

Which way to trade?
When to take profit? (harder than the first question)

Nothing has changed PRO.

BDP = new range
&
WDL= correction

Exiting a trade is the much more difficult part. That is why I suggest multiple extries for multiple exits.

Last question to you.
I'm sure I asked it before.

How do you personally go about making your winners BIGGER than your losers?

When I take a trade it seems the stop is waaaaaaaay far away from what I would deam a decent take profit level.

You know what I'm going to say ...I kill the losers fast ..don't give them a chance to grow .Why should I let a 5 pip loss become a 10+ pip loss . If I'm wrong ,I'm gone .If I'm right ,I move to break-even quickly . Kill the losers ,and the winners take care of themselves ,.,............

Will you describe "when price starts to stall"?

Any time Ive ever tried this my winners become even smaller.
Or maybe Ive never really listened to price and was looking more @PnL.

Ya,,I think you answered your own question .Remember ,I am a scalper .If I am in a trade ...I am watching it every second , or have taken risk off with a trailed stop . Levels ,zl's , FIB's , none of that enters my head .When the edge of that price line slows ,stumbles, or comes back too fast ...boom ..it's closed .Watching scalpers in action on you-tube , helped me greatly ,as far as exits are concerned .

Was gonna move my tp up higher before bed and then got sidetract.
217 pips later it got hit.

Uugh.

Closed the other waaaaay early and never got the pullback I desired.
