Hi JohnS, this is not an attack, just want to share my opinion....

I doubt anyone who has actually read MO's threads would ever accuse him of wanting to sell anything or ever wanting anyone's money...... I for one, would not be where I am today if it weren't for MO and several others on this site, that is a fact. There are a few people I got insight from on other sites, but the core and the most 'a-ha' moments came from here. I'm not sure where the animosity is coming from, but I feel it's misdirected.

Please re-read my original post. I NEVER accused MO of "wanting to sell anything or ever wanting anyone's money." I simply said that MO"s stuff is repackaged.

I DID accuse the marketers in the 2nd paragraph of selling stuff.

Please don't accuse me of saying something that I did not say.

First of all, my apologies for the misunderstanding.
I just wanted to point out that, whether original or not, it was the first time for me to hear about it (momentum), before that I was completely lost and feared the market, because I had no idea what was happening, (zeroing out profit). It wasn't until I heard it from him that I started to see things clearly. Now, I am very confident in my trading and have him and others here to thank for it. Without his teachings, I would probably still be running in circles testing out some multi-indicator based system.

Yes,
Term from II's Bredin.
I like to mix and match different instructors teachings.
no-ONE has cornered the market on something NEW.
Not even ICT. LOL

Well, MO has shown some things I hadn't seen anywhere else but I'm not sure there is not some-ONE out there that hasn't taught it before.
Enough negatives in that one sentence for ya?
hehen

EVERYTHING that MO talks about is just repackaged stuff. There is NOTHING new in trading. Once a trader learns that, then he/she can become successful if he/she really wants to.

Just like everything that Booker, or Primo, or Senters, or Carter, or ICT, or Stubbs, or D'Amico, or Miller, or Martinez or, or...etc., etc, etc. "teaches", it's ALL THE SAME STUFF JUST REPACKAGED, to sell to people and make money for them..........and in many of those cases, that is their main source of income, it's not from trading.

The best thing that a trader that isn't sucessful can do, is to get off the boards, quit buying this crap (both figuratively and literally), get into a room by themselves and create a strategy that is testable, verifyable and repeatable.

The best thing a "successful" trader can do then is show how it's done.
Which is my very plan if you have read the above posts.

ICT, yes, he is SHOWING how he does it.
HIs myfxbook account is up 50ish% in one week. (10 exits as he scales out, I hate that!!!)
And yes, he is telling us where price is likely to go BEFORE the fact.

What more can a guy ask for?
We can join him, on demo of course (lol), soon.

I have agreed with almost everything he has said so far BUT the last video he posted on growing a small account, nope.
I had some disagreements in the risk to be used and the rate that it should be done.
6% a month to start risking 2% per trade max.
Too little and too much.
He did say that 50% a month is really easy to do risking that much though.
1-2 trades MAX a week.

Watching and seeing.
I'm in no hurry the last 8 yrs have went by in a blur, I'm sure the next 8 will go even faster.

But hey, he is the one having success not me so I may need to listen up.

Interesting listen, Pro

The concept of the 40% club was interesting, but as a discretionary trader, I can't see myself going for it.

Perhaps if I was into making trading EA's, then that would CONSIDERABLY shrink the distance to reaching a finish line and just relaxing to constant, passive trading profits.

But still, when did the Asian range end on that pic?

download/file.php?id=16812

Is it price returning to an Asian Range that was set earlier?
