Once again thank you MO. Seems like there are alot of good ideas floating around in pro's thread. Looks like that will be my next read.

You posted this almost exact 7 years ago "When a member of Kreslik is not a profitable trader it pains me deeply and probably more so than the pain you feel
I will do every thing in my power to make you profitable". Seven years, thousands of posts, hundreds of charts and dozens of ideas later, I think its safe to say, you have done everything possible to make us all profitable traders. So i know i speak for everyone when I say thank you.

You had some really good post in about the middle of the NLA thread that i am re-reading again. Its amazing the amount of info that you have given, that very few will ever know or apply to help them in there trading journey.

I'm sober now, so hopefully it won't take quite as many posts this time around.

Haha, you know i meant what i said in a good way. Congrats on being sober. I was a high functioning addict for almost a decade.

Have you figured it out yet? Over a year of the same pair, same method has been posted. Every day, you could have made plenty of pips!!
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

Please do NOT PM me with trading or coding questions, post them in a thread.

Pro, how do you not make money. I attached a daily chart using MO's idea's and a 5min using the buyzone with daily candle color. Both gave you chances to be profitable. Why do you trade so many pairs, so many different ways, when you aren't even profitable. Pick one pair and one idea and master that. Take notes everyday, what went right, what went wrong. Print out charts everyday and mark them up and make a trading journal. What if your wife said you weren't allowed to trade anymore except for one trade a day. You would wait for that perfect setup (I hope).

Not trying to attack you or put you down, because I have been where you are. Just trying to offer help and support to a fellow lifter.

Thanks for the compliment. I always debate whether or not i should post or offer advice.

Pro, how about when u post a losing trade you share with us what idea's or thoughts that you used to bring you to that decision.

Try approaching trading like you would the gym. I'll use myself as an example. I dont just go in and lift. I have weekly, monthly and up to yearly cycles planned out (cycles mean how i rotate my workouts, not AAS cycles). I know what days are upper and lower days, what days are max effort or speed days. I know the reps, sets for every lift including all warm up sets. I plan what time of the day i will lift.

I'll stop there cuz i think you see what im trying to say. Also im not trying to come off as some know it all. I jjst have alot of free time since trading is my job and i have no personal life.

Yes sir, you are correct.

For some reason I have not been able to force myself to take trades on the "pullback".
The rare times that I do, I bail so early it is a useless endeavor.

Or, once the market sentiment changes, meaning I SEE bodies against me, I will then hold to oblivion.

eg.

No personal life?
Gym rat and kreslik, what more you need? LOL

Ok, lets see.

Ucad:
I drew the red levels after price moved UP.
many levels price bounced off and a couple others it sliced through and used as a springboard to continue it's mission.
lines have not been adjusted since price started going down.

Then:
Market is in uptrend on weekly and daily charts, price pulls back 550 pips to a level I see fit for continuation.
Enter and it bounces a couple hundo.
Oops, not so fast. friggin oil goes into conso and starts bouncing up/down.

usd continues to fall. Ok.

drops a few hundred more, I think this is a pretty good place for a bounce here. NOT.

Ok, now we are in a fight.
Your mamma mother........ hehehe

drops a few hundo more right into a weekly flip zone (breakout from long range before move up)...take a large trade size to scalp back most of drawdown....... check/book "profit".

After a small move down from there add some more..this bad boy has got to retrace a few hundred from this level...for sure, even if it takes a couple weeks.

Mamma got me on my knees doing with me as she pleez. On the daily. hahah

NFP is released today and price is now down 1350 pips from the high with very small retraces.......
I read somewhere that hedge funds are now buying oil....up that bad boy goes.
Down with the ucad.

lets go big (or at least in proportion to acct size)

Result below, yet to be determined:
But, My failure in trading has been assured with these types of action.
7yrs of it.

Trading itself is simple.
Trading knowledge is not an issue as I've got plenty, more than enough.

Taking proper action with the knowledge that I've learned is a HUGE issue.

How do I retrain my brain.
How do I take proper action consistently.

I feel I am drawn to systematic type of trading because I would be able to remove emotions.
But this would be nothing but a cover for the real issues at hand.

The buyzone could work for me.
Something is keeping me from accepting simplicity and trading for 5-10 pips a pop.

I'm at a loss.
