I don't see a long either.

We see a small move to the top of the cone and then price quickly retreats.
There is a quick move to the break-in of the short followed by bearishness.
The last attempt to rally, before breaking the pennant, looks feeble.

But this is not the issue, this issue is very poor money management.

You trade large charts the same way that you scalp small charts:

If $20 is 10 pips on a small chart then $20 is 100 pips on a large chart & you treat 10 pips as if it were a single pip of movement.

1) whip-saw is non-existent
2) accuracy is increased
3) spreads do not matter
4) if price gaps 40 pips over your stop then it is only -4 more pips.
5) stop losses can be MUCH SMALLER, sometimes as small as 3 macros!
6) leisurely close positions for -1 to -3 macros when the trades are not working.

All of these advantages, and more, can be yours if you just stick to the playbook; you are SCALPING the large as you would SCALP the small.
This means that you are trying to bring your risk to zero and take what you can, TRO style.

What is the downside? It takes a lot of time for a trade to complete.
You can use this "loss" of time to your advantage by trading 3 to 5 pairs at the same time; remembering that, because the size of moves have
less impact, you have more time to micro manage several trades.

I read the macro pip thread myself, but feel like the idea never really gained any traction with other memebers or what not. I would love to see some more talk on this idea either in this thread, its original thread or TIITB thread. Im away from my computer and charts for the week, but after that would love to contribute to the topic.

What indicator is that MO. Almost looks like if the crash zone and buy zone had a child.

Macro pip is very important for me. After I spend first 4 month with MP I stoped burning my spaces because I started better read higher time frame and now my stoploss selection is more accurate. Funny is that many times I swich MP trades to space trades and vice versa.
MP is also great for days when I don't have time to manage my space or I don't want to 8) .
I remember that I spoke with someone from kreslik and we both agree that MP is number 1 thread for begginers. Everyone who start forex should start from MP in my opinion. Of course space MM my number ONE.
Most important is what MO wrote about MP:
This strategy pays for Space Wars

Once again thank you MO. Seems like there are alot of good ideas floating around in pro's thread. Looks like that will be my next read.

You posted this almost exact 7 years ago "When a member of Kreslik is not a profitable trader it pains me deeply and probably more so than the pain you feel
I will do every thing in my power to make you profitable". Seven years, thousands of posts, hundreds of charts and dozens of ideas later, I think its safe to say, you have done everything possible to make us all profitable traders. So i know i speak for everyone when I say thank you.

You had some really good post in about the middle of the NLA thread that i am re-reading again. Its amazing the amount of info that you have given, that very few will ever know or apply to help them in there trading journey.

I am still losing fat on Keto (the best lifestyle ever)!

It is my understanding that if you readjust your macros from 80/20 to 60/40 or 50/50 that your body
will take the excess protein and convert it into sugar...
So I was wondering if "carb nite" is even necessary; we could just go full blown Atkins a few days a week
to restore our glycogen(?), in theory.

I know this post was months ago, but you are correct to a point and your theroy does have merit. You can also use glutamine to help replenish glycogen. Personally i would play with your carb amount and how often based on how you feel, what your trying to accomplish and the intensity of your workouts (if you even are working out).

I'm sober now, so hopefully it won't take quite as many posts this time around.
