Hope it is OK that I ask this in your thread.
When eating low carb - high fat can you get fatter if eating too many calories or is there some mechanism in the body to prevent that, since there is less insulin etc. What's your experience?

I recently started on a LCHF diet for fat loss but feel like I eat to many calories and worry about gaining, that would be bad.
Don't necessarily stuff myself but eat the amount that feels necessary to function at work and so on.
I have searched the internet and some say they gain weight and some say it was hard to gain on a LCHF diet.

Thanks.

This week's words of wisdom come from Henry van Dyke.

"Use what talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best."

Any time I tighten up on carb intake I get leaner and leaner even while eating as much fat as I want.
Truth be told I dont get near as hungry so my overall intake may drop.

As in trading each person must find their own way/combination.

To much protein Ive read can derail fat burning as M.O. mentioned a few posts up.
Search google.

If it were true that fat makes you fat then I would have gained 23 pounds instead of losing 23 pounds.

I have tried everything under the sun and unlimited calories from fat is the best.

Burgers smothered in Kerrygold butter, bacon, eggs, chicken w/ skin, lamb chops...just stay away from sugar and you are golden.

I am still waiting to have a figure of action like PRO, but I think that takes a bit more effort than just diet

Why is there no option to lock the angles to a specific degree, the damn things are always moving away from where I set them ](*,)
