" I don't want to survive, I want to live!"

If this is someone's view on trading its dumb. [-X
If you don't survive you can't live when it comes to
risk and trading. You can not live unless you survive.

Sounds like some marketing crap to me.

Why buy courses, books, and tapes when you know that trading is just money management and horizontal lines?

If you can't buy faith in yourself or experience then what are they selling you?

Eccentric 15th-century japanese poet ikkyu. So it goes,

“Many paths lead from the foot of the mountain, but at the peak we all gaze at the single bright moon.”

This LInk was txt to me by my oldest son,
Pretty good.
Last night he came to visit and we sat chatting from about 11p-3a about politics, money, ect.
The last 2 hrs was spent on TRADING.
Funny, we never once mentioned a "system".
Only Money management and accumulation.

Mostly review but it gets pretty good about mid-way through.

A well known trader recently posted his stats on a tpostep combine attempt . I found it very interesting , In 17 days he placed 697 trades (whew) . commissions totaled $ 2746 , total contracts traded 1448 , wins 196 , losses 427 . Net profit was $ 3372 .So his average profit per trade was $2 and change ..If he traded a full 6 hr session he invested about 102 hrs ,thus making about $33 / hr. ....I'm not criticizing the man ...I once traded (over traded ?) like this , it is very exhausting emotionally . Some would call it " churning ". http://coiledmarkets.com/blog/2015/09/0 ... -factor-2/

Hard Work… Unselling You
All of these cold, hard truths about trading success I lay out in stark reality here are the opposite of traditional sales tactics. But you can read all of that false b.s. everywhere else. You can read about following some guru’s trade calls to earn easy profits from day one, forever. You can read where buying someone else’ system and follow its blinking lights to earn easy profits from day one, forever. You can read about purchasing someone else’ method that wins 90+% of trades every day.

You can read all about how quick success is right there at your fingertips, just a mouse-click away upon purchase. To my knowledge this is the only place where you will hear the truth about how all that teaser stuff is nothing more than shameless bullsh*t. And I think you are wise enough, intelligent enough to already know that yourself.

Like it or not, that’s how it is. Time, effort, energy, personal accountability, personal responsibility. Hard Work. That’s how this life as a trader truly works.

Not Much Else
Well, since the very first post here in July 2009 and several thousand more that followed since then, we’ve come to a point where there isn’t much left new to say. Obviously we know how to read the markets, any markets. We know how to trade. We know how to show you how you can learn to trade. All of that is either clearly obvious right now, or never will be.

I’ll post inside here again from time to time, but the overall message won’t change much at all. We offer you the opportunity to create your own paychecks from financial markets… how to remove money from others and capture it inside your account(s). If that information we offer is of value to you, great. Be my great pleasure to help. If not, no worries either way and I certainly wish you well in your financial future.

You Certainly Can
Today more than ever before I wholeheartedly believe that anyone can learn how to trade successfully. In order to do that, one must be open-minded and optimistic about everything. Anyone who won’t let go of preconceived notions and/or harbors skepticism or negativity will lose all their money, will fail and will bust out 100% guaranteed. Mental attitudes mean everything in this self-performance profession.

On the other hand, if you make the personal commitment to work hard, study hard, study charts of your chosen symbol(s) and just as importantly study yourself in pressure situations, you can and probably will succeed in time. I believe that to be equally true for you, me and anyone else who makes the decision to win :)
