Then all I must do is follow the #'s.
1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256.

256 is pretty significant compared to say
1, 2, or 4.

You think that is the problem? How bout RISK CONTROL? If you limited your risk to 100 pips or 4% of your account, you would not have blown 50%.

Rule #1 control risk
Start small and build some space.
Work with space until % target is reached
OR space is destroyed.
Go back to start small again.

How bout I never add to a position that is showing a loss.
That prevent a LARGE position at inopportune times.

Problem solved.

I saw you had an order with -600 pips. Adding to a losing
position is not good, but it's not "problem solved" for you.

If you are macro scalping then you should always set your
emergency 100 pips stop loss. Don't risk more than 4% of
your account. Don't risk a lot when you don't have space.

You was doing well with the macro scalping, stay focused
and manage risk. Losing 50% of an account is like a
psychological nuke going off!! Total breakdown.

I tell you this to help. I have tested various things on my
test account and figuring out how to survive the market
comes before making money. The making money is more
likely to happen if you survive.

Its a big move but it was still long BDP right before
it happen.

Hey alias!
Are you saying that if you had been trading that pair before that event, you would've been attempting Longs?

Yes, it is problem solved.
If I NEVER added to a loser since 2008 Then making my first million would be a mute point.
Which trading method I used would be a mute point.
Using space would be a mute point.
All you would see here on this thread was $5k to $500k REPEATEDLY.

Say helllooooo,
to my random 00.

From that chart right before that big candle I would have
been looking for a long.

Ok PRO make $25,000 with your $250 using that logic
and I'll admit I am wrong. I'm willing to learn a new perspective.

Ok.
But $47k,
New Dodge Challenger

Even adding to a loss CAN work if lot size is kept proportional.
The last 5 trades have netted much more than my current loser.

Haha I didn't really look at your unit size. You must of
done some real inner bone head $hit to lose 50%.
