Technically the upper portion of the trendline is suppose to be touching the next peak higher and the risk box should extend to the low of the hammers wick.

I go through all the trouble of marking up the NZDUSD and showing you how to interpret the cones with in your face hints
and you move to a different pair...i see how it is

how would you have found this cone for yourself?

Lets ignore the fact that that little area of congestion looks like a cone (point of second blue triangle); it has a double-hook (the min req.) & an up and down slant.
We know also that sharp breakouts are not part of cones (that is why we draw through them) & that breakouts help to define cones; the last sharp move down in the min-cone or congestion was not part of the cone (because it was a breakout) so the bottom of the cone is not the previous median line but the quarter-point of the previous channel...creating what is referred to as a 'sawing' or offset cone. Wow that was a long intro.

When price made a sharp move up out of the mini-cone we are immediately thinking "this is a sharp breakout, sharp breakouts are not part of cones, the current cone must be true (or if we didn't see the cone before we definitely see it now).

One part of a cone will always be the median line and the other will be a quarter point.
If you understand how & why cones move then you will take a lot of the guesswork out of trading:

The market moves according to diamonds, "squares" for the handful of Gann lovers out there, & the diamonds hold two thoughts about direction, & these two thoughts are channels, and these thoughts are adjusted in quarters.

Now do me a favor PRO. Don't repost or quote this. Just let it sink into your thread like a hidden gem.

BTW: Have you ever asked MO to "Show me the account and how it was traded?"

I don't show entries because entries are irrelevant when you are trading 'space'.
I do however show everyone exactly how I trade using: horizontal lines, bodies, wicks, cones, and truths.

That said, asking to see trade logs is not a valid request; esp if one is not receiving compensation to do so...
personally, I can't think of a price that is high enough.

And I sure as hell am not looking for trade calls OR direction.
