$400+ accounts: 0.025%, 8x smaller than 2% over 10 pips
$1000+ accounts: 0.01%, 20x smaller
$5000+ accounts: 0.004%, 50x smaller
$10000+ accounts: 0.002%, 100x smaller.

The #1 rule to making money is that you do not lose it; the closer that you can get to risk free the better.

...but I don't trade for pennies!

Yes you do :lol:

But just as $0.02 doubled every day for 26 days is a large number, so are your pennies multiplied over a period of
time to a large number; $0.20/pip doubled once per day for 14 days becomes $3276/pip.

When I set a weekly loss limit of 0.5% it looks like this:
(0.5% / 0.002) / 50 space = 5 trades.
Yours might look like this:
(5% / 0.025) / 40 space = 5 trades...
& by 'trades' i mean the total destruction of 'space' (DoS Attack? lol)

Now you can see how when I lose 35 pips at 0.002%/pip, for a loss of 0.07%, I bust out :lol: and move on to the next trade; at this risk level, +39% is lost in hundreds of trades! Losing my money becomes a full time job :roll:

When your initial size is small then you can take big gambles because there is 'nothing' to lose and everything to accumulate.
But when your size becomes very large then you need to sober up and move with the larger charts.

Hopefully you can finally see that Space Wars is not pips, it is about conquest.

You say to double a $0.20/pip. When would you do that, When you accum. 35 pips or 50 pips?

No pips,
No entry.
ONLY position.

When you have accumulated enough to allow it
AND when current price dictates the pip value CAN be doubled.

It is not about pips. Truth
It is not about entries. Truth
When initial size is small big gambles can be taken. Truth

So too.
There is no need to sober up when the lot size gets BIG.
Truth.
There is NOTHING @risk.
Margin capital is not in the picture.

Lets maintain a level head here and keep things in proper perspective.
No need to revert back to "reality" just because our lot size goes up.

Play by the Space Wars rules. ;-)

Focus Son.
Its about positions, accumulating, and Lot sizes.

So this means with all that green right there I have both a good position AND the ability to increase lot size on a whim.

If you feel comfortable with a stop that is closer to the current price then increase your pip value and normalize risk.

At a minimum you should increase your pip value by 50% prior to taking profit & then re-enter with your last lot size
and complete the cycle.

You do it like this:
$0.20 ---> $0.40 ---> $0.60 ---> $1.20 ---> $1.80
or this:
$0.20 ---> $0.30 ---> $0.60 ---> $0.90 ---> $1.80
So that you can do this:
$0.20
$0.60
$1.80
$5.40
$16.20
$48.60
$145.80/pip

The good news;
My 2nd level AJ entry took profit which makes the first entry a mute point.

Martingale can work. In a strict range bound market, it can work well but one breakout out of the range against your positions will wipe you out in due time. The second scenario is if the trader has unlimited capital.

Can You Maximize Profits By Adding To Losses?

Adding to your losses is a harmful strategy that can work in the short-term but has a very poor long-term track record. If your trade is losing, the most likely scenario is that your analysis was off or your timing was off but either way, it’s costing you money to stay in the trade and the best move is to exit the trade until the waters calm and you can make sense of the overall landscape.
