Pro,

Been reading your posts for a long while (haven't we all?). Everyone's rooting for 'ya
cause you won't give up. Great!

Consider this: you are inconsistent. You know this. You know it is not the method it is
you. Okay, so, it is psychological, now what? I submit that you need to work on the
problem, rather than the symptoms. You have been trying to find and fit a trading system
that resonates with the tornado that is whirling in your mind. It ain't gonna happen!

You gotta get your mind straight. I'd recommend Van Tharp's "Peak performance" home
study course. That should reveal what's going on between the ears. It won't fix it --
that's up to you. If you want a preview of the course, you can read his "Super Trader"
book. Most of the concepts are covered there, but it isn't presented in a way that you
can work through like his course.

To reiterate, you need to rewire your brain, not find the right system. My suggestion,
walk away from trading for a month and don't even cheat and peek at a chart. Betcha
can't do it! If you can, then there's hope.

Respect, man! All the best -- :D
There is but one simple truth to wit: the truth is always simple

Hmmmm

Interesting perspective Dudehead.

I missed 1/2 the moves for nfp as I was at work.

Waited for the first m1 pullback and dove in.

Highlights were a +91, +78, and +68.

Took profits at +28 and +68....yeah, I know, a "real" trader would be adding and adding.

96 pips is nice off of the M1 ie. small timeframe.

Not sure about real traders adding and adding ect.

I think real traders make money how "they" can make money and
you did just that.

Seems like you are seeing "pie in the sky" when you already have
"a bird in the hand" :)

9.6% a day is nice @ 1% risk per ten pips
19.2% @ 2% risk per 10 pips

Whichever, they are both nice.

Pro, I've noticed you discussing Chris Lori lately. I'm curious what you have studied about him, what resourses? Also have you studied any of Peter Bains work and if so what? Thank you,

Hmmm,

Well, I went to one of his workshops a couple month's ago. $1500.00 (3 days)
It was very cool because Steve W. from www.nobrainertrades.com was also there and did a guest speaker thing.
He and Chris are doing a joint venture workshop in aussy land in a couple weeks. They met for the first time at the workshop I attended after being introduced by mutual online friends (i think, don't quote me) as they are both PA traders. I went to dinner with them and It was neat just hearing a couple fund managers chat it up.

Before that I watched all his available videos at least 3x.
Complete FX course (23hrs)
Optimal order entry and trade management (6hrs)
Inside the banks(7hrs)
Scalping course Vic Noble w/chris lori. (Vic has got over 20yrs exp. and has some very good stuff avail)
High probability reversal patterns (6+hrs)
Psychology course(6hrs)

I'm a member of his Pro-Traders Club (got 2 months free with workshop but I've continued my membership)

There are archive vids in the PTC from 2006 to present. I watched them all in just under 2mo. We are talking 100's and 100's of vids.
I did nothing in life from morning till night to get through them before the workshop.
He does live PTC's pretty regularly on Sun. nights for members.

Peter Bain?, I have one of his courses but have yet to watch it.

KNOWING HOW TO TRADE, WHEN TO TRADE, AND WHEN TO EXIT IS ONE THING. Pretty simple stuff.

ACTUALLY DOING IT HAS BEEN ANOTHER ANIMAL!!!

You can torrent/download many of these courses for free.
Look at TRO's signature...LOL

A couple courses I recommend also is Vics High reward/Low risk trading and his short and sweet, Sup/Res course.

Cheers.

Wow, you're into it more than I first thought, education wise. I appreciate the review. I had googled the whole gang over the weekend; definitely some talented traders. I'm curious if you thought you got your money's worth, or was the education something you thought you could have found googling the internet? I found something you might like for the bulletin board at the monitor.

"I am your constant companion,
I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
I am at your command.
Half of the tasks that you do you might just as well
Turn over to me and I will do them quickly and correctly.
I am easily managed. You must merely be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done.
After a few lessons, I will do it automatically.
I am the servant of all great people
And the regret of all failures as well.
Those who are great, I have made great.
Those who are failures, I have made failures.
I am not a machine but I will work with all its precision
Plus the intelligence of a person.
Now you may run me for profit or you may run me for ruin.
It makes no difference to me.
Take me, train me, be firm with me and
I will lay the world at your feet.
Be easy with me and I will destroy you.
I am called Habit"
